Later that night, Denim drove Kimberly home. It was a silent drive to her apartment. They had lunch in a fancy restaurant and brought some take aways alongside. Kimberly touched her exposed arms, feeling a little cold.
Denim gazed at Kimberly’s enormous eyes. She gave a tight-lipped smile, exposing her uneven dimpled cheek. He didn’t realize she was so pretty until now. Dazzled, he just stared at her and kept staring. Kimberly looked outside through the windows. The compound was empty.
“Rose is not home yet.” Rose muttered.
“She’s probably with Jack.” Denim added, and she watched him nibble on his lower lip. And for a moment, they both just stared fondly at each other. Kimberly felt her heartbeat speed up and when Denim’s face was just an inch away. As he leaned closer, Kimberly cut the silence.
“Good night.”
Denim smiled and nodded in appreciation. “Alright.”
Kimberly pulled on the door and stepped out. With her purse at hand, she walked toward the door and got in while Denim watched her leave. He revised the car back, and Kimberly rested her heavy head against the wall once she closed the door.
Kimberly reminded him a lot about her previous relationship with Kelvin, her exboyfriend. It’s no doubt that she missed him a lot. Denim wants a proper relationship. It seemed like he was ready to settle down, which wasn’t a bad idea. She just hoped that she wasn’t taking the wrong decision. It’s obvious that Rose doesn’t care about Denim, at least. The guy was a gentleman. She thought about the look in his eyes and sighed. About to go into her room, two quick knocks came up from the door.
Kimberly turned back with curiosity.
'It might be Rose.' She dropped her bag and answered the door. To her surprise, it was Denim by the door.
Her lips parted in shock and her eyes blinked as she gasped at his presence. Why would he come back? She was so confused at the moment that she took a step back. Denim followed her, his eyes filled with love and lost for her. All he wanted was to be with a woman whom he could settle down with and not a prostitute.
“Why... Why are you here?” Her lips mumbled. Her mind was a puzzle.
Denim walked straight to her. “I need some comfort.”
His hands clasped around her neck, holding her face in a firm grip. It sealed the feelings they had for each other as their lips meet. Denim drove wet kisses onto Kimberly’s lips. She abruptly closed her eyes, receiving his affectionate kisses, while his kiss blistered her lips and his fingers sought and peeled off her dress and curved about her hips. Pinching and probing until her body ached involuntarily against his in response.
Denim felt Kimberly's warm hands around his neck, then his hand pulled her closer. They both focused on the kiss. Kimberly gripped onto his shirt and he pulled her up, making her legs wrap around him without breaking the kiss.
Getting into her room without switching on the lights, Kimberly frantically tore her lips against the domination of his.
“Are you sure you want this?”
“Yes, Denim. I want you.” Kimberly gasped, like a baby.
“I want you too.” He breathed and his head dipped down to her breast, from which he had stroked away her dress.
His raven black hair, damped and tangled, filled her nostrils with its scent and her body, untouched for so long, throbbed and tingled, yet Kimberly still fought with the exquisite torment of his visiting lips. His tantalizing fingers rolled away until she fell off the bed with a thud.
