Kimberly was in the living room, chewing on a pack of potatoes chips and watching her favorite home movie, Dracula, when the door slammed open. She turned toward the direction at once and Denim walked through the door. With draggy feet and slumped body. Kimberly swiftly pulled out of the sofa she relaxed in.

"Are you okay?" She raised with a frown.

Denim nodded briefly and placed his hands on his waist. He scratched his head with a dazed look of bewilderment. "So we... We have the baby. She's a beautiful girl."

"Oh my God!" Kimberly jerked from the chair in excitement. Really?

"Yeah." He faked a smile and looked down in a droopy position. Then he folded his arms, trying to tell her something more.

"She's a beautiful baby girl."

"Awwwn." she blushed.

"But..." His lips stammered, the incoherent words that were not audible.

"But em..."

Kimberly pointed her gaze at him, unable to move. Her nose and forehead scrunched up in puzzlement. She had never seen Denim so confused about something.

He stared at his feel then at the ceiling. His right hand wiped through his sweaty face. Glanced with darting eyes around and his head turned, as if looking for answers.

"But Rose..."

"Yeah, Rose." Kimberly took a step closer. "What happened to Rose?"

He looked at her and nodded negatively. She had some complications and... She didn't make it.

Kimberly's lips pulled down at once with tears. She held her face in her palms, trying not to cry again. 'No... Not now! Not now when everything is settled.' Kimberly cried mentally. Clasping her face, baffled by the news.

"I just want you to know that it's been a long journey. She's been to five hospitals before this. She'd tried to push, but the baby wasn't forthcoming."

Kimberly had dropped, perplexed at his rattles. She never knew it was up to this.

"The doctor said we had to meet a pastor, a spiritual person, to pray for her." Denim continued. His voice, low and cracky.

Kimberly just nodded. She couldn't believe they'd gone through so much.

"Then, we found out that she had a dream where you apparently tied her womb and the pastor also prophesied that you tied her up."

"No, that's ridiculous!" Kimberly stuttered and shrugged.

"I don't understand these this but that's what she said, and that was what they told us. That was why we came to beg for forgiveness. It was until after you prayed for her she gave birth, but now, she's... "

"It's okay." Kimberly held onto Denim as he touched the bridge of his nose, crying. She held him in her direction and tilted to him with understanding eyes.

"Kimberly, I'm so sorry. I know I've wronged you so much that... I don't even deserve your forgiveness, but... You need to forgive me.

He held his hand together in a plea while she looked away.

"Please, forgive me. Raising Rose's daughter needs your help. I can't do these things myself. I'm so lost and confused right now." He raised his gaze to hers and she watched him in the same manner.

It almost sounded as if he was asking for a reunion or something. Kimberly had wanted to let go. Although she still had their wedding ring on her finger and she'd never taken it off or broke her wedding vows for him even once, she wondered if getting back with Denim was even possible.

"I know I don't deserve it." a streak of tear rolled down his eyes. And she heaved in her breath. Her heart burned at his hurtful words. And it hurt even more. "Kimberly Jonas, please. I would never live with anyone else except you. I can't trust anyone else except you. My friends don't trust me again. I don't have anyone else except you, Kimberly. I want to build a family too."

A breath of relief escaped her lungs and she faced him directly. "Listen, listen to me Denim King. I forgive you, okay?"

He nodded in a tight-lipped smile of appreciation.

"I'm sorry you had to ho through all these. I would curse no one ever again and.... I love you." She wiped the tears from face, her fingers by his nape and her thumb to his beard that had gone thicker through the months.

"Thank you." Denim muttered, looking down. Kimberly gently brushed her finger through his beard, and he looked up at her.

"I promise you I will equally love her like my child. I with be a caring mother for her and a dedicated wife to you."

"Thank you." She held him in a hug and Denim rested hiss head on her shoulder while she clamped her hand, fondling with the back of his silk raven hair.

"I promise never to hurt you again, Kimberly. Let's remake our wedding vows. In a grand way this time. In front of the entire world. So you and I can say I do again."

"Oh, Denim. You know we don't have to go that, right? I mean-"

"Don't worry, Kimberly. It's going to happen. And we to invite everyone." Denim cut in.

"Okay." she blushed, and he sniffed. "If you say so.

Later that day, they visited the hospital and brought her daughter home.

The baby was a wonderful creature with a delicate system that needed to be tended to extra well during the fragile early stage of life. Like any living thing, she needs food, water, and sleep besides love and care in order to grow and live a happy and healthy life.

Even as a baby, Kimberly noticed the striking resemblance between Rose and her daughter. What should we lame her? Have you thought of a name yet? She asked Denim.

"I'm not sure. But Rose loves her name, Mary." Denim suggested.

"Yes, should we call her Mary?"

"Yeah, it's an ancient name, but Mary has always been a good girl's name." He concluded.

"I agree with you. Let's call her Mary. Mary King."

Jack got married to Kimberly's marketing manager, Miss Zoey Easton. Though they had been working together for a couple of months. Zoey and Jack were a sweet couple. Asher ended up marrying Holly Gavin, the pretty model he met on Instagram. After their marriage, they moved to San Francisco. While they buried Rose by the end of the year.

Denim and Kimberly renewed their vows. It surprised that many of their old high school mates attended. It was also a beautiful reunion Felicia and Charles attended. Asher ended up marrying Holly Gavin, the pretty model he met on Instagram. After their marriage, they moved to San Francisco.

Kimberly loved Mary so much. She hugged her all day long, and I let her. Mary cried nonstop anyway, and it was emotionally draining for Kimberly that Denim took over the clothing business for a while. It was her first time experiencing motherhood, and it was a little tough.

Four months later, Kimberly became sick. She visited the hospital for treatment, but the doctor told her she was already a month pregnant. The news excited Kimberly, and she wondered what it would feel like raising two kids. They are going to grow as siblings.
