Ashton's POV

I parked my car and I walked up the stairs to Luke's apartment, playing with my car keys in my hands and knocked the door.

"Hey!" Luke said, when he opened the door and I smiled, walking into the apartment.

I walked towards Michael's bedroom when I heard Calum shout over to me from the sofa.

"I wouldn't bother checking in there." Calum said, not tearing his eyes from the game he was playing on the Xbox.

"Why not?" I said and Luke shrugged.

"Michael hasn't came back... he left about an hour ago and we haven't heard heads or tails of him since." Luke said and I ran a hand through my hair, and sighed loudly.

"I'll go and find him." I said, taking my car keys out of my pocket again and I heard Calum speak up.

"Ashton, he maybe needed some space, I'm sure he will be okay." He said and I stopped at the door, my hand on the door handle.

"But he won't be, Calum." I said, turning around and leaning against the door, crossing my arms and letting my breath out slowly.

"Michael kept thinking that he can hear Hannah... and I don't know if this is his way with dealing with grief, but Michael hasn't felt human emotion for 200 years... I just have to find him, I'll call you as soon as I find him." I said and they both nodded, and I slammed the door behind me.

I walked back down the stairs and got into my car. I punched the steering wheel in fury and shook my head, before igniting the engine and taking off in the direction of the place that I knew Michael would be.

The house.

Michael's POV

"Hello, Son." I heard my father's voice said and I stood up, turning around and saw my father standing in the corner of the room.

"How?" I choked out and he smirked, leaning against the wall, and crossing his arms.

"How can I see you?" I said louder and he laughed, locking eyes with me.

"Have you ever thought that maybe I'm not here at all?" He said and I shook my head, taking a step towards him.

"No, I know you're here..." I said and he smirked, making me doubt myself. I couldn't be crazy. I couldn't be.

I couldn't be.

"You have to be real." I whispered and he raised his eyebrows.
