Calum's POV
It was about 2am and I heard my phone ring. I looked up and I saw my phone ringing. I answered it when I saw it was Michael.
"Michael?" I said, sitting up in bed. It was strange, Ashton hadn't rang either me or Luke yet.
"Calum? Can you and Luke please come back to the house." He said and I furrowed my eyebrows.
The house...?
Oh.
That house.
"Why are you there?" I asked and Michael didn't say anything for a moment.
"Please, Calum, bring Luke and just come to the house. Something bad has happened." He said and hung up. I climbed out from underneath my duvets and I pulled on some clothes, and walked into the hallway.
I turned on the lights and knocked Luke's door before opening it.
"Luke. Michael called, he needs us to go to the house." I said and I heard Luke groan and he looked up.
"What?" He moaned and I threw him some clothes from the floor that he had left.
"We need to go to the house. Michael says it is important." I said and Luke nodded, rolling out of bed and sooner or later we went to my car and I drove us to the house.
None of us had come back here since the fire and when Hannah and Michael's father vanished. We got out of the car and walked up the porch steps and I opened the door, Luke following close behind me.
"Michael?" Luke called out, as we walked in and I heard voices in the kitchen and I followed him.
I walked into the kitchen and I stopped completely dead.
For one of two reasons.
One was that Hannah was standing beside Michael, looking very much alive and two, Ashton was lying on the ground and he wasn't moving.
"What the hell is going on?" I said, coming into the kitchen and I got down on the ground and shook Ashton's shoulders.
"He's dead, Calum." I heard Hannah said and I looked up at her.
"What are you talking about?" Luke said and she sighed, sitting down on the floor beside us. Michael sat down beside her and I saw Michael move his hand towards hers and he held her hand, their fingers intertwining.
"When you all did the spell to try and make Michael's father disappear, when it affected me as well, we didn't go away, we just grew weaker, but we didn't disappear. Then, since the house got damaged, it could no longer give us energy, and since there was two in the house it made hard for us to both have energy so one was always stronger than the other. And the stronger one was always Michael's father. But Ashton knew that I could draw energy from him, but I wouldn't do it because it would have made him weaker..." Hannah trailed off, wiping a tear that fell down her cheek.
