Michael's POV
I walked away from Hannah for a second, staring into her mirror at my unscarred face.
"What the hell?" I whispered, running my fingers carefully over my face. I couldn't get use to the face that was staring back at me, my now green eyes, staring widely back at me.
I looked exactly the same way I did before I died.
"Michael?" Someone quietly said my name, and I turned around to see Hannah standing not far away from me.
"I... I don't know what is happening to me." I said and Hannah stared at my face and smiled.
"Michael... Is there any reason for you to... worry about this?" She said and I looked down at the ground.
"It's not that I should worry about me changing, it's just... this is not suppposed to happen." I said and she nodded her head and I sighed, blinking.
Everything looked so much... brighter.
I laughed quietly and Hannah raised an eyebrow.
"Why did you... hate me so much when I moved here?" She asked and my breath cuaght in my throat.
Wow. This was... sudden.
"Ummm... it was more fun for me." I said and Hannah bit her bottom lip, "but even after the first day in the basement... I knew that there was something different about you. I had a real attraction to you. It is more powerful than anything I have ever felt. I then wanted to know you, I wanted you not to be afraid of me... I wanted you to love me, Hannah." I said and Hannah smiled, tears rimming the bottom of her blue eyes.
"And I know that I'm supposed to hate you. You have everything that I want. You have life... and that's all I've wanted. You make me feel alive, Hannah. We shouldn't be a thing but I am competely and utterly in love with you." I said and Hannah ran towards me and I caught her as she embraced me warmly. She turned around and kissed me, her warm, soft lips connecting to mine.
This is it. This is what makes me feel alive.
I reached down and grabbed the bottom of her thighs and lifted her up, and placed her against the wall and she wrapped her legs around my torso. Hannah moved her hands down the back of my neck and she gasped into my mouth.
"What?" I said and she smiled, shaking her head.
"Nothing... you're just... really warm." She said and my eyes widened, and I placed her down gently.
"What?" I whispered and she placed one hand to my cheek, rubbing her thumb along my cheekbone.
"You're really warm." She repeated and I shook my head.
"What the hell is happening to me?" I whispered again and that's when the lights flickered and they turned off completely.
