Hannah's POV

When we heard Luke scream, I jumped backward into Calum.

"Fuck me." Calum breathed out and I felt my muscles start to shake.

What happened to Luke? Where was he? Was he okay?

"Calum, what is happening?" I breathed out and Calum shook his head.

"I don't know. Should we... Should we go and try and find Luke?" Calum said and I bit my lip.

A part of me... A part of me really didn't want to go find Luke, because I was shit scared of what we would find. But we couldn't leave him alone.

"Come on," Calum said, grabbing my hand and I took a deep breath. Calum raised his phone, the torch shining out its beam and entered the hallway.

"Luke?" Calum called out quietly but there was no answer.

"Luke?" Calum said a little bit louder, but there was just an eerie silence.

"We need to go upstairs." Calum said, his voice shaking ever so slightly and I grabbed his hand and squeezed it tightly as he made his way towards the stairs.

"Calum... I'm scared..." I said and Calum nodded his head.

"So am I." He whispered and we started to climb the stairs. We reached the top of the stairs and I noticed, shining my torch over it.

It was a trail of blood, leading down the hallway.

"Shit." Calum breathed out and we both followed it, until it ended at a door. It was a door that had always been locked, it was a door I couldn't get into, and I didn't particularly want to either. Calum placed both hands on the door, pulling on it, but it wouldn't open.

"Luke! Are you in there? Come on, buddy, talk to me!" Calum yelled out but there was no answer. Calum motioned for me to move backwards, which I did. He then ran forward and jumped against the door, throwing his weight against it.

It budged, but it didn't open. He backed up again and ran forward again, jumping on the door and throwing his weight against the door.

And the door opened.

"Luke!" I yelled, and Calum lifted his phone shining it into the room and I saw Luke. He was lying on the floor, but he wasn't moving.

Calum dropped to his knees and turned Luke over. He shook his shoulders and slapped his face.

"Come on, Luke, wake up!" Calum yelled and I shone the torch on his face. He was pale. Too pale. He had dark, dark circles under his eyes and I noticed a slight trail of blood coming out from the corner of his mouth.

My skin broke out in gooseflesh and I stuck my hand to his neck and I searched for a pulse.

For a short second, I panicked and thought there wasn't one but I found one.

"He's got a pulse." I whispered and Calum ran his hands through his hair.

"How did he get up here? Why is he not waking up?" He said and I shook my head, sitting back for a minute.

Calum and I sat in silence for a second and then Luke opened his eyes and gasped loudly. I screamed and I scrambled backwards. Calum jerked backwards and then bent over him.

"Luke? Are you okay, mate?" Calum asked and Luke raised a hand to his head.

"I don't feel so good." He mumbled and then rolled on to his eyes.

"Bathroom, I need a bathroom." He whispered quietly and I went over to him, Calum taking his other side and we lifted him up and we led him across to the bathroom, where he fell to his knees and lifted up the toilet seat and was sick. I rubbed his back whilst Calum stood back a little bit.
