I get back to the hotel and I check the time, it's late. Almost midnight. Time feels like it's going so fast for some odd reason.
I want it to slow down but it keeps going.
I walk into the lobby, I see Kol and he is chatting to the receptionist. I walk past him and I head to the elevator, as I walk in. I press the close door button and a hand comes in stopping it.
It is Kol, his eyes makes contact with mine and he gives me a subtle smile.
"Hi.. Elle right..?" He asks.
I nod. "Hi".
The door closes and I press the 20th floor button while he presses the 21st floor button, Xiomara's floor.
Reign did say they are on the same floor, interesting coincidence.
I stay quiet as I am focused on my thoughts. Thinking about what my mother said, or what Francesca said.
"So.. how has Xiomara been? Quiet or anything?" He asks.
I keep facing forward. "Not quiet with me, I am her good friend. But she is fine to me, that's a question you should ask her".
He nods. "Yeah.. but overall should I be worried or anything?".
I turn slightly to him. "That's a question for Xiomara".
He looks away. And I turn back looking forward.
We get to the 20th floor and I get off. I walk away and the door closes. As I get to my door, I hear nothing next door.
I knock on the door and nothing. I check my phone with a message from Xiomara saying she took the kids to the pool.
I smile out of relief, almost got scared. I guess I'll unpack and then join them.
As I go back to my door,I hear walking towards me.
I see Reign walking towards me and he looks stressed out.
He comes close and stops. I turn to him and he immediately kisses me.
I was stunned and surprised but I didn't push him away.
He stops and looks at me. "I have been thinking non stop about doing that and I couldn't waste another second".
I smile a bit. "Yeah... I guess we couldn't huh".
He shakes his head. "We couldn't and I don't want to stop... not even for a moment".
I smile and I wrap my arms around his neck as I tippy toe. I lift myself a bit to match his height and I kiss him. He kisses me back and pulls me closer to his body.
His hands trace my waist and I totally forget everything.
I stop a bit. "Wait the kids..? They will come up soon and I don't want things to be awkward".
