As Reign takes me home, he's quiet most of the ride and it honestly scared me. He has his moments where he is quiet but this was silence for too long.
Not one commentary was made by him. Something had to have happened for him to be like this now.
I disrupt the silence. "Did something happen?".
He stays quiet and I see him clench the steering wheel tightly. "What happened Reign?".
He still is quiet.
"I thought no secrets between us" I yell.
Nothing.
I unlock my door and I open it as the car is driving. He stops at a halt and he looks at me worried. He reaches over me and slams my door shut.
"What the fuck Elle? You can't do that shit!" He yells at me.
"And you were ignoring me..." I say.
He sighs and he continues driving. "I got a threatening message, nothing to worry about".
I look at him confused. "Isn't that very concerning?".
He nods. "Yes but they wouldn't dare to cross me, they would... use my weakness instead..".
I look at him confused. "You don't have any weaknesses..".
He sighs and he stays quiet.
"You don't have any right....?" I ask. He still is quiet and I question the silence. Why would he have a weakness? Isn't it bad for him to even have any?
He parks the car and he turns to me. "Shit Elle, you are my weakness for fuck's sake".
I look at him confused and I shake my head.
"I can't be... fuck Reign. Does that mean they will kill me? Am I safe? Fuck is my siblings safe?" I shouted out of worry.
He nods. "You are safe and I won't allow anything to happen to you and not even your siblings".
I try to stop myself from panicking but I couldn't. His hand goes on my thigh and he faces me to him.
He shakes his head. "I won't allow it Elle, trust me".
I take a deep breath and I nod. "Ok... I trust you".
I reach over and I kiss him. I hold onto him tightly and this kiss was different of course. One that showed how scared I am but that I had belief in him.
After we exchange our goodbyes, I head inside. Time to be scolded by the kids.
As I step in, I hear laughing and shouting. I head to the noise and I see the kids with Mikhail and Liam.
