Madrid.
You will not be the same ever again. Things will never be the same ever again.
I will never be the same again. Once we arrived in Madrid, we took the kids to the hospital to treat their injuries.
I was fine and I was hardly worried about myself. Mal and Nate were fine, they only have a few scratches here and there. Miguel suffered bruises and broken ribs.
Luckily no concussion.
Hailey had a few bruises and most importantly they needed to check the baby's health. Luckily nothing was wrong with the baby.
Reign hasn't left my side here at the hospital. But I love that he didn't mention any funeral or anything.
I can't take talk about a funeral right now, it's the last thing I want to hear.
As sit at Miguel's side, Mal and Nate are sleeping on the couches. Reign took us to the most expensive hospital and he didn't want us separated.
Hailey was in the maternity section. And my mind wandered off to how the hell Matthew allowed this to happen her.
Our phones have been taken so we know we won't get them back. But why haven't I seen him around? It's too weird.
I turn to Reign. "I need to get in contact with Matthew Hernandez".
He looks confused.
"Well for one, my sister is carrying their son.. and why isn't he around? Protecting the mother of his child. I need to talk to him" I say sternly.
He shrugs. "Who knows if the Hernandez family will talk to us? Gabriel is now dead, I have started war with him and it was a war I was trying to avoid".
I sigh. "I get that but I need answers. I know she was under my care when this all went down but it has been days. She should've been with them right now, but she isn't. And no word from him?".
Reign nods. "You're right..".
He gets up and he leaves the room.
As Miguel rests, I hold his hand. I know he will be fine but he's only 14. He didn't deserve this and the fact that he was willing to go in his sister's place. I know they bickered all the time, but their relationship was the strongest one out of all of us.
And it saddens me that Miguel will not have Rachel by his side. None of us will have her by our sides.
It's because of her that I decided to be more free, to give Reign a chance. She's the reason I convinced myself I was worthy of love and much more.
I can't do this.
I step out of his room and I look at Reign as he is on the phone. I wait and he looks at me.
