Laura: what future in hockey Cody. I know I'm an amazing hockey player. I can't do anything with it though because I'm a girl. And girls can't play in the NHL. And as for Jake I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't want him to die he's all I fucking have but I don't want him to suffer either. So either let my Jake suffer or have faith. And as for my friends yeah I do have a good group of friends but we're different in many ways and I'm a bad influence on u guys. Yeah my major is amazing but is it really for me. I mean would I make a good doctor.

Laura: hey Jake. I know I haven't been in here as often as I should but I've just been being a selfish asshole thinking of myself. First I go and drink my self into oblivion. Basically telling my whole life story to the bartender and this lawyer from Harvard who sat next to me. I also tried to kill myself my jumping in front of a semi. You would be so disappointed in me. I am a terrible horrible person I don't even know why u love me. The only reason I'm alive or not in a coma is because Cody saved me. It was the weirdest thing because one minute I'm falling to my death and the next Cody is pulling me back onto the curb. I was so mad at him but then I realized I shouldn't be mad at him. Because me killing myself isn't doing anything it isn't going to bring u back. It's only going to put me out of my misery. Listen baby I need u to come back to me your my one shot at happiness. I know I'm a shitty person and I don't deserve u but your it Jake. You make me want to be happy and to get married maybe even one day have kids. But that's only with u baby. I need u and I know this is a lot to ask but please u need to come back I need u Ben needs u the team needs u. We're all lost without u baby you were the glue that held me together.

She tried to kill herself she said she would be better off dead. On the bright side when u wake up we get to resume hockey. They put a pause on the whole tournament just for u how cool is that. So when u come back be prepared because the "dream team" will be new and improved. Oh and by the way you look like shit bro u really need a haircut.

(2 weeks later in Jakes room........)

Doc: got it. Okay Laura well I checked Jakes charts and looks like he's improving.
Laura: well that's good right.
Doc: yes it is. We're actually going to take him off the ventilator because he is starting to breathe on his own which is a very good sign. But we are not out of the woods yet.
Laura: thank you Jesus. I can finally hear him breathing and not the ventilator.
Doc: yep. Have a good day Laura.
