Game #6 Part 1

Laura's PV:

I'm sitting here at the hotel bored out of my mind. The team just got to the rink and is warming up. I really hope they win tonight. I mean they have a 50 50 chance. This is the best team so far that they're going up against and I'm quite nervous that I won't be there. But I know Ben and Jake can handle it and Calum is an amazing goalie so it's going to be a tough game. There either going to win or lose and if we lose its all on the coach.

(30 minutes later at the hockey rink in the locker room........)

Coach: listen guys this team were playing tonight is really good just like Marano said and your going to have to work extra hard since she won't be playing tonight.
Jake: well maybe you shouldn't have benched her
Coach: did I ask your opinion Gilinksy
Jake: ..........
Coach: I didn't think so. Now since Laura isn't here the lineups going to be a little different.
Ben: (whispers to Jake) yes it is
Jake: haha
Coach: what's so funny Gilinsky would u like to share.
Jake: nope nothing's funny coach I just have a tickle in my throat.
Coach: whatever now back to the lineup.
Ben: I'm going to miss Laura's chant
Jake: it's one chant Ben and like she said it's not that hard just come up with something. But try not to make it to stupid.
Ben: fine
Cody: so guys u ready for this
Ben: yep u guys all remember the plan right who's starting where and stuff.
Cody: yeah we do. Thank god u guys and Marano held that practice last night because if u didn't we would have been fucked.
Jake: yeah we would have.
Cody: that Marano man she's always thinking
Jake: she sure is
Cody: I wonder if she has a boyfriend?
Jake: what did u say?
Cody: I said I wonder if she has a boyfriend because she's the full package dude she's smart, athletic, hot as fuck......

Jake: that was the worst chant ever
Ben: well sorry Laura's the only one who can do them good

Laura's PV:

The game starts any minute now. I just turned the tv on and the team is warming up. I don't know if I want to watch it or not because it's definitely going to give me an anxiety attack knowing I can't do anything if there losing horribly. The coach really is a fuck tard for sitting me out of the one game which is today which is bullshit. At least he had enough sense to put Jake and Ben back on starting lineup or they really would have been fucked.

(On the rink practicing.......)

Colorado player: where's the superstar Marano I was really looking forward to kicking her ass.
Ben: she's sick
Colorado player: bullshit I heard she loves hockey so much she was willing to play with the stomach flu and got a hack trick in the game. So where is she really?
Jake: like we said she's sick
Colorado player: she's not "sick" she just didn't want to lose to our kick ass team because she knows are team isn't mediocre like all the other teams u play. There good but not as good as us.
Jake: maybe that's true but our team can kick ass against any team including yours
Colorado player: whatever u say. But I wouldn't get to cocky the game hasn't even started yet.
Jake: cocky isn't my thing it's Marano's thing.
Colorado player: well u better hope she's telepathic and can send u some vudu because if not your fucked. But wait aren't u guys like a "dream team" or something that's what u call yourselves so u may not be completely screwed.
Ben: I think u shouldn't get to cocky because we are the "dream team" - one but we're just as good so bring it.
Colorado player: consider it brought.

(Back at hotel with Laura......)

The first period just started and I'm so fucking nervous. Sam already fucked up a trick play but it's only 2 minutes in so I'm going to try my best not to freak out. I ordered room service and I got a shit ton of comfort food and room service better not fucking judge because I need this food in order to get through this game. And I'm charging it all to the coaches room. Fucking asshole.

(Back at rink 1st period........)

Jake: guys we need to get out there and get our shit together.
Ben: ik we need to win this game not just because Colorado's team are assholes and the coach is a douchbag but because we need to win this game for Laura.
Jake: hell yeah we do. I bet Laur's at home right now having a huge anxiety attack and beating herself up because she's not here and can't play. She thinks she's screwed us because of her actions when in reality. We all screwed ourselves because we didn't have to go to the bar but we chose to. And the coach fucked us over by pinning it on her because he holds some stupid grudge on her for go knows what. Now what r we going to do let them skate all over us or r we going to skate all over them??
Cody: we're going to skate all over them.
Jake: that's what I thought. Now on 3 were going to skate all over them. Go UCLA!! 1.....2....3.....WERE GOING TO SKATE ALL OVER THEM!!!!! GO UCLA!!!!!
