Game #6 Part 2

Laura's PV:

The first period just ended and no ones scored. It was definitely a tough first period that's for sure. I thought I was going to regret putting Sam on starting lineup but I don't that kid can really hold his own. I was a little iffy about it last night after practice and we couldn't change it but he's actually pretty good coach just never gave him a chance. Man I wish I could have seen his face when we messed up his starting lineup and made up our own way to play the game with new plays and shit. I'm excited and nervous at the same time for the next period.

(At the hockey rink in the locker room........)

Coach: I'm going to act like Marano for a minute. What the fuck is wrong with u people? You don't go behind my back and change the whole way I taught u how to play the game.
Jake: we had to Marano isn't here and if we played your way we would have been fucked.
Coach: did anyone ask you Gilinsky. No I didn't think so. You know Marano's really rubbed off on you and Butler. You would have never talked back the way you just did but look at you.
Ben: she didn't rub off on us she's an amazing friend and hockey player. Maybe if you took the time to get know her and didn't just bitch at her all the time you would see it to.
Jake: yeah she's the best friend you could ask for. She's an amazing girlfriend and I wouldn't ask for any other member to complete our "dream team".
Coach: oh my god you and that "dream team" bullshit. You aren't know dream team. Your just Laura's little minions. Your her excuse. You'll never be as good as her. She's cocky as fuck and she should be because she's a good ass hockey player. So are you guys. But none of you will ever be as good as Laura.
Jake: fuck you we aren't no excuse. Your just saying that because you hold some grudge against us.
Ben: yeah why do u have to be such an asshole all the time.
Coach: you want to know why I'm an asshole all the time?
Team: yeah
Coach: because I want you all to be as good as Marano because she's got big things coming for her and you could to. I may be hard on you and sometimes an asshole but I just want what's best for you. I want for u what I never had.
Jake: don't think will show any sympathy for u because u didn't have what we have. We are good and u made us good but so did Marano u know we wouldn't be here without her.
Coach: that's right we wouldn't be here without her because she carried the team the whole season. Half u guys don't know your right foot from your left.
Justin: bullshit you know we're good you just don't want to admit it because u pay to much attention to Marano even if u don't know it.
Cody: yeah do u know how many secret practices we've had to prepare for games because you were to "busy" or thought we were ready and didn't need it. I guess those were lies.
Coach: u went behind my back
Jake: yeah we did and thank god we did or we would be losing terribly right now.
Sam: I've heard u tell Coach Dave that were just here to look good. Marano carries the team and we don't do anything. Jake and Ben are just as good as Marano. Calum is an amazing goalie. The rest of us are great hockey players to. And u never gave us-me the chance to show you. But Marano has and that's why she's a great teammate, friend, and hockey player.
Coach: Exactly Sam u guys are great but not amazing like Marano. Sam I admit I have said that more than once and it's because it's true and u all know it u just won't admit it because u all think your the next Wayne Gretzky or Dominic Hasick. when in actuality your not. You all need to wake up and smell the roses you'll never be as good as Laura Marano.
Random person: you guys need to be out on the ice in 5 minutes.
Ben: thank god I couldn't take anymore of coaches bullshit.
Coach: Butler don't start you'll be sorry.
Ben: what r u going to do coach threaten me tell me I'm not good enough. Your old and washed up find some new come backs and things to torcher us with because your getting boring. And you aren't a threat.
Jake: true that
Ben: let's go practice some trick plays guys. He ain't worth are time.
Team:(leaves)
Coach: (talking to himself and pacing in the locker room) I shouldn't have made Laura sit this game were so fucked. She may be a pain in my ass and bitchy sometimes well actually all the time but she is a damn good hockey player and she needs to be here. But she told me off like she always does. Said she won't come if I need her help. I have to prove her wrong we can do this without her Ik we can.

(Start of the second period at face off.......)

Colorado player: still no Morano I see.
Jake: (gets in his face) I said she's sick how many times are you going to make me fucking say it.
Colorado player: I wouldn't do that if I were you. I'm much bigger and I can kick your fucking ass.
Ben: Jake come on bro he isn't worth it lets just kick his ass playing hockey not fighting.
Jake: no Ben he's been talking shit about Laura all night, talking shit about us and the team all night, and now he threatened me. Your on asshole.
Colorado player: bring it.
Ben: (skates over to Matt) um Matty Jakes about to fight the biggest player on the Colorado team I need you now.
Matty: okay where is he?
Ben: over there
Matty: holy shit that guy is fucking huge. I don't even think I could take him let alone Gilinsky.
Ben: Ik now u have to go over there and stop the fight.
Matty: why me?
Ben: because your the fighter on our team. And your damn good at it.
Matty: I am pretty good aren't I.
Ben: not the time to be cocky Matt. If Jake gets hurt during this game Marano will fucking cut a bitch. And it will most likely be u.
Matty: let's stop that fight.
Ben: that's what I thought.
Colorado player: (pushes Jake)
Jake: (pushes back and punches him)
Colorado player: no one fucking punches me
Jake: well I just did (tackles him)
Ben: oh shit
Crowd: fight, fight, fight
Colorado player: I'm going to knock your teeth in Gilinsky then I'm going to win the game and go to your hotel and fuck your girlfriend. (Knees Jake in the gut)
Jake: no one talks about my Laura like that u fucking prick. (Punches him)
Ben: Jake u need to stop your going to hurt yourself.
Colorado player: come on Jake are you going to be a pussy and back out or are u going to fight like a man. (Takes his gloves off)
Jake: fuck u (takes his gloves off)
Colorado player: I've been wanting to do this for so long. (Punches him straight in the nose) I wonder what Laura thinks seeing her little boyfriend getting beet the shit out of
Jake: stfu asshole I will kick your ass in a second. (Tackles him again and starts punching him over and over again)
Colorado player: you fucker. (Punches him in the forehead.)
Jake: (falls back and hit his head on the ice)
Ben: Jake. Jake man wake up. Jake r u okay bro.
Matty: holy shit man he's unconscious and has a weak pulse. We need to get him to a hospital.

Laura's PV:

I can't breath. Jakes in the hospital because he got into a fight over me. I saw the whole thing and it scared the shit out of me. I was bawling because I didn't want Jake to get hurt and when I saw him being taken off on a gurney from the ice I knew it was serious because Jakes strong and he can kick some ass.

Ben called and I cussed him out. He said Jakes unconscious and right then I flew out of the hotel not caring that I look like shit and I went to him. All I could think of on the ride in the taxi over was what if he dies or what if he gets amnesia and forgets me. I would never forgive the coach or myself because somehow
I know it's all my fault.

(At the hospital.........)

Laura: (sees the team in the lobby) Ben where is he??
Ben:........
Laura: Ben
Ben:..........
Laura: someone fucking answer me where's my boyfriend where's Jake?
Ben: Laur I'm so sorry.
Laura: (tears in her eyes) no your lying he didn't die where is he? Coach this is all your fault u prick if I was there we wouldn't be in this situation you mother fucking asshole. I hope u die in your sleep and u rot in hell.
Coach: Marano
Laura: no don't Marano me I quit I'm done...............

Did Jake die? Will Laura really quit hockey?? What will happen next?? Is coach going to apologize to Laura?
