Raura: "The Dream Team"

Game #7 Part 1

Laura's PV:

Today is our 7th game and I'm so excited. I feel like I haven't played hockey in years and it's an awful feeling. The "dream team" is ready to take the ice and kick some ass. I'm nervous though because I don't want Jake to get hurt and Ben's been off lately I hope he's okay. We may fight a lot but we love each other in a demented sort of way.

NO ONES PV:

Coach: okay guys today's are first game back since are little 4 week break due to personal issues that won't happen again right Gilinsky.
Jake: yes coach
Coach: we are also lucky enough to have Marano grace us with her presence today. So Marano does that mean your back on the team?
Laura: yeah I am. But I did it for the team and myself. Not u so don't flatter yourself.
Team: ooooo, burn, shots fired.
Coach: (glares at her) watch it Marano I'll bench u again.
Laura: no u won't coach. Because I know last time u almost shit your pants you came so close to losing. And when I'm out there we don't lose. So u would never do it again no matter how many times I do something stupid or embarrass the fuck out of u.
Coach: your lucky your good at hockey Marano because if u weren't u would have been gone a long time ago.
Laura: please come up with some new come backs because u say the same shit to me all the time like seriously. It's annoying and boring. I mean surprise me.
Coach: u got some nerve Marano.
Laura: boring. I'm going out on the ice. Come on guys.

(On the ice warming up.........)

Laura: who are we playing against?
Jake: the Michigan Wolverines.
Laura: oh. Are they wear wolves or something. Hahaha
Jake: yeah
Laura: shut up
Jake: (kisses Laura)
Laura: what was that for?
Jake: just because I love u
Laura: I love u to baby.
Ben: what r u to fags talking about?
Laura: dude wtf is up with u lately you've been being a bigger asshole that u usually are lately for no reason.
Ben: well Laur where does it say in the asshole handbook that only Laura Marano can be an asshole to her friends and fuck them over whenever she wants. But her friends can't do the same.
Laura: actually it would say that in the asshole handbook but whatever.
Ben: whatever just fuck off.
Laura: go ahead skate away. Run away from your problems u baby. Wow I am an asshole.
Jake: it's okay superstar he's just having a bad day.
Laura: okay. I just wish he would open up to us.
Jake: me to baby.

(Beginning of first period........)

Marano wins the face off and passes it to Gilinsky who passes it to Butler who passes it to Cody who shoots and scores. Marano brings the puck up the ice on the breakaway and scores. Gilinsky gets the puck and has a 2 on 1 with Butler he passes it to Butler who then passes it to Gilinsky who then passes it back to Butler who shoots and scores. It's now the end of the first period and the score is 3-0 UCLA the Wolverines better get there act together or it's going to be a long game.

(In UCLA locker room..........)

Coach: you guys are doing good but we can do better.
Laura: r u fucking serious. We're up by 3 and they didn't get one shot on Worthy. I'm pretty sure he took a nap during the first period I know I would have.
Team: hahahahahahaha
Calum: it's true I did. This team sucks.
Laura: (rolls eyes) I mean would it kill u to give us a little credit every once in a while.
Coach: don't start Marano I'm just saying we should be winning 5-0
Laura: I didn't have to come back coach. In fact I can walk out right now so be appreciative for once in your life. I mean Jesus fucking Christ.
Jake: calm down baby.
Laura: I'm sorry he just pushes my buttons
Jake: I know
Laura: guys all of u did amazing. Sam u were amazing and Cody u scored Calum u did an awesome job at taking that nap.
Calum: thanks Laur
Laura: no problem. You guys all did fucking amazing. And u deserve to be praised every once an a while.
Ben: (whispers but Laura hears) that's a first
Laura: what was that Benjamin
Ben: nothing
Laura: no tell me
Ben: it's u your so selfish and stuck up. It's all about Laura all the time. I swear the coach would of had a fucking stroke if u didn't rejoin the team, but if it was any of us we would be replaced in a minute and someone would be on a plane coming down here. I mean everyone is invisible to him but u. And u don't even fucking like him so u think he'd leave u alone and kiss other people's asses but he doesn't.
Laura: wow Ben really you want to have this fight with me. I am most certainly not selfish nor am I stuck up. I have a gift a talent and people praise me for it. Do u think I like it. I hate having everyone having to count on me. It's terrible because what if I fuck up then we're done and everyone's pissed at me. Sometimes I wish I didn't got the scholarship, I didn't come to UCLA, hell sometimes I wish I didn't even play hockey.
Jake: Laur don't say that
Laura: no it's true if I didn't play hockey or didn't know u. You wouldn't have been in a coma for 3 weeks. My brothers right I will always be New York City trash and that's where I belong. With Luke and David getting high and drunk everyday. Hating myself and the world hoping that I will die. I should be dead I should've been dead a long time ago.
Ben: Laur I didn't mean for u to take it that way.
Laura: no Ben your right it took you telling me that. To realize I don't belong here. I've been lying to myself for so long. I should be with my dad on the other side dead. Not here with u guys. I don't belong here I don't belong anywhere.
????: finally u came to your senses.

(In the Wolverines locker room.........)

Coach: what the hell r u doing out there. Your losing to a girl. She's kicking your ass.
Michigan player: she's as good as they say she is coach.
Coach: I don't care how fucking good she is Andrew. Are you guys going to let her skate all over u. We're not losers were winners. I mean damn she's a winner. She hasn't lost a game since she's started playing hockey.
