News broke out at the North Coast about the dance battle, Rush losing, and his apology.
Many didn't believe it at first but when my co-members uploaded videos about our dance battle they believe it later on. Though they still treated me like a threat and a nuisance.
But I don't care since these days I feel like I'm on cloud 9 because of Rush. Because after what happened, he apologize to me although di ko nakita kung sincere ba siya or hindi but still it made our relationship progress na kinatuwa ko naman.
"Good afternoon,"
I hide my smile when I know who it is. From the tone of his voice, alam ko na agad kung sino. I lifted my head and saw Rush in front of me smiling. Nginitian ko rin siya at binaybay ng tingin ang kamay niyang may dala. May dala siyang Iced tea at box ng donut. Kaya kinilig kaagad ako sa kaloob-looban.
"Here. For your snacks," He put the things on my table and smile again.
"Thank you," sabi ko. Napakamot siya sa kanyang batok at pekeng umubo.
Persephone rolled her eyes at pinasok nalang sa bag niya ang kanyang mga gamit. She still hated the idea of Rush being close to me. She reasons that she felt odd at his demeanor and that I should be careful. I mentally noted her advice dahil may sense rin naman siya.
"I guess I'll see you at the practice,"
I nodded at him and thank him again for the snacks. Mabilis siyang lumabas sa room at lumantad sa akin ang masasamang tingin ng mga classmates ko. I just rolled my eyes at them at niligpit ang mga gamit ko. Getting ready for lunch.
"He's persistent ha." Phone said while we are walking outside.
"I guess so," tanging nasabi ko nalang.
I never really know how it started. After the dance battle, I accepted his apology despite not seeing or hearing it properly. But I think it's enough for me since I beat him.
The day after, he was waiting outside the house. I was really baffled since it was early in the morning. He greeted me and told me na sumabay na sa kanya but I declined dahil may dadaanan pa kami ni Matt bago papasok sa school.
At lunch time, nagulat nalang ako na nasa labas siya ng room at naghihintay. I thought he was waiting for someone but it turns out he was waiting for me. He gave me sweets and snacks and told me to enjoy those things and left. I was really surprised dahil he was acting like that all of a sudden. I mean yeah, I have a crush on him pero bakit kailangan akong biglain?
