Part 1

"Mahi bhaiiii, where are you?", yelled Virat barging into his room.

Mahi was sitting the balcony sipping coffee peacefully enjoying the nature.

It was not silent anymore as he heard his kid yelling.

"Cheeku, why you always come unannounced? A knock to just alert me somehow", Mahi asked as he entered the room to find Virat sitting on the bed.

"Unannounced, bhai, pure hotel ko pata lag Gaya hoga that I am in your room, knock-- seriously? Why would I ever knock and come into your room?", Virat said.

He dragged and made him sit down, he just lay head in his lap.

"What happened?", he asked softly stroking Virat's hair.

Virat looked up, "why something has to happen everytime?"

"Aise bhi toh aapke paas aa sakta hu na", he added making cute faces.

Mahi chuckled at his baby face.

Virat questioned in a quiet voice, "Bhai, what more could we have done last T20 WC?"

He expressed concern and said, "It's been six months to that Cheeku, why are you still thinking that?"

Virat rephrased, "Bas aise hi, batao na bhai?"

"There are many things that are pointed out when we lose Cheeku, and it's never enough," he added softly.

Virat nodded at that.

"Bhai, do you think I am selfish?", he asked in a low voice again.

"Cheeku, okay-- look at me now. What's all this ha? why are asking such questions to me? did anyone say something?", he asked cupping his cheeks.

No way he ever wanted his kiddo to doubt himself.

"I am just asking, koi reason nahi hai", Virat said.

Mahi knew it was a lie as Virat didn't meet his eyes.

Before Mahi could ask anything whole team barged in breaking the conversation.

"Bhai let's watch a movie or fifa?", Hardik said as everyone seated around wherever they could find place.

"Cheeku get up, I want to sleep here", Rohit said seeing Virat's head in Mahi bhai's lap.

Virat didn't pay attention to that, "Dont call me that and Panda find place somewhere else"

"Cheeku actually u have to get up because I am getting a call", Mahi said them fighting.

Virat got up reluctantly and Rohit immediately place his head in Virat's lap and slept in a second.

"He is definitely a nobita, how the hell does he sleep in a sec", Virat thought.

Though he was irritated with his sleep, he could not push him away.

Virat looked in the balcony, it's been 20 mins Mahi was speaking on the phone which was really weird.

"Virat bhai aap mere team mai!", Rishabh said and handed him one controller.

"Don't move Vi" Rohit said and slept more comfortably.

"Yeh panda ka pillow ban ne aya tha kya mai", he mumbled seeing him sleeping in his lap.

"Virat bhai dhyan do na kya kar rahe ho, Harry ki team Jeet rahi hai", Rishabh said.

"Sorry Rishu", Virat apologized but again instead of focusing on the game, his eyes went to balcony.

Mahi was still conversing on the phone and looked a little different.
