"So, when're you coming home?" Zayn asked, sipping on his tea. We were sat in my apartment while Melissa was out. We had a day off of rehearsals, so I asked Zayn if we could catch up. His legs were crossed while lounging on my sofa. I was sitting on the recliner chair with my legs dangling off the side.

I chuckled and rolled my eyes. "Zayn, I am ho-"

"You know what I mean. Home as in home, back in London. Back where Jade and Tracy are. That's home," he said stearnly.

I sighed, knowing he's right. Tracy's been right and so has he. I just don't want to admit to it. I wanted to do this adventure. Now that I did it, I know I should go back to London, but this is home, I guess. Now that Zayn is here for this amount of time, it's even more like home.

"I'm sorry, Zayn. But this is home for now. Until the show season is over," I explained. He set his tea down and looked at me with sad eyes. I diverted mine to my lap. I heard rustling then suddenling, Zayn was kneeling in front of me.

"I need you to come back to London, Raven. Jade needs you to come back." His eye held desperation and all I could see is Jade's. I looked back and forth between Zayn's melting eyes and I felt guilty, yet again.

"I'm coming back. I just don't know when," I said. "I need to finish this season in order to get the full pay."

Zayn groaned and fell to his bum on the floor. "I told you that money isn't a problem, Raven!"

"But it is to me!" I shouted. I saw it scared him at first. He stood up quickly, his eyes wide with surprise. I stood up, him still towering over me a bit. "Zayn, I have to support myself!"

"I want to support you, Raven! I want to be there for you and Jade!"

I felt something inside of me. Something that caused me to get frustrated. "I can't let you be, Zayn! You have a job that won't ever let you be there for us! I need to support my daughter! I need to have my own life! I don't want Popstar Zayn to swoop into Jade's life and give her stuff she doesn't need! I want to teach her and show her to appreciate the things she gets!"

He backed off as I stood on my toes and yelled in his face. "She's my daughter, Zayn, mine. You weren't there for her before! Just because you're coming into her life so late doesn't mean shit!"

"Coming into her life?! Raven, you brought me into yours! You came to me, remember?! You needed my money! And now that I'm offering it to you, you don't accept it? For our daughter?! Making a child takes more than one person, Raven. I would think you learned that in year 8! I love her just as much as you!" He shouted back. He got into my face this time, causing me to stumble. He groaned and ran a ran through his black locks.

"I love Jade just as much as you and even more. I didn't leave her for my own selfish needs, Miss Taint. I still see her when I can while you're here in New York City, acting like everything is okay!" He swiped his jacket off the kitchen chair and stormed off to the door. After swinging it open, he turned to me and shook his head in disappointment. "And I thought we could love each other again."

"You know what Zayn? Fine! Walk out of my life! All you would have done to Jade is ruin her life because her own father never truly loved her mother! I didn't want my future kids to end up like I did! Without a father and a drug addicted, alcoholic mother. But she's already gotten half of that," I screamed. My voice hushed towards the end, when I realized what I was saying. I never like to talk about my parents. I practically grew up on my own.

At the age of 15, I was living with my Aunt who worked constantly. I had to fend for my own. Really, all my Aunt was, was a signature when I needed it and someone to call my gaurdian. I made myself dinner and I taught myself to grow up. Dancing was my escape. I would go to school then straight to the local community center for free dance lessons. That's where I was told I had talent.
