5: Living in the Norm (Chanyeol)

"I'll drop you off at your Highschool today so quickly get ready!" Mom hollers from downstairs. I'm putting on the school uniform that everyone is suppose to wear for school. Man.. I can't believe it. I'm actually trying to live a normal life now.. It's been like 4-5 years since I debuted and performed as Exo. I grab my glasses (they're not real, but they're in style) and my back pack. Heading downstairs I say goodbye to Chansoo and Dad and head out the door towards the car.

"So you ready?" Mom asks me when we are in the car.

"I don't know... I'm kind of nervous I won't have any friends there that will treat me like a normal kid. They probably just wanna be friends with me because I was from Exo. Especially those crazy fan girls! I don't know what I'm going to do..." I answer back stressing over this.

"Don't worry," mom replies. She looks at me and squeezes my hand. "You will do okay," I smile back at her. I hope..

As soon as I step out of the car I see girls from multiple directions scream and point at me. Oh gosh.. It's gonna be a long day.. More like long next few months. It won't be long till the reporters find me and start writing articles about yme and my "new" life. When I start walking, the girls start to run to gather around me.

"Chanyeol!!"

"OH MY GOSH he's from Exo!!"

"I can't believe he's actually coming to our Highschool!"

"Can I get a picture with you??!"

This is crazy. I don't know how I'm gonna make it through the day... I know no one here . But then something caught my attention . A girl. She was walking towards me . This wasn't just any girl... It was Eunhye! YESSS MY LIFE SAVER. But then I saw her turn away and start to walk. Before I could process anything else, words slipped out of my mouth .

"Kang Eunhye! Stop right where you are and wait for me!"

She stops. I wonder if I've made the wrong decision of calling her out... But she turns my way again and smiles back and waves to me. I smile back. Quickly walking out of the mob of the girls I reach Eunhye. We look at each other .. In silence . Then I finally break the awkward moment of silence. I don't know why but I was really scared to see how she would reply to this... But here it goes..

"Sorry, I'm kinda new to this ,.. And I need a friend .. So when I saw you, you were obviously the only person I knew or at least met .. So I was wondering if ... If.. You could help me out -"

Before I could even finish what I was saying, Eunhye quickly replied back "Sure!"

A sigh of relief escaped my mouth.

"Really?!" I reply trying so hard to not break a smile.

"Yeah, hahaha.. Only one exception and that's because you're Chansoo's brother. And so because Chansoo's is such a sweetie, I'll do this for him." She says while winking at me. I couldn't help but smile back. At least I have one friend here who will treat me like a normal person...

"So who's your homeroom ? I'll show you the room," she says looking at me. Then suddenly she stops walking as she looks at me .

"Ummm...." I quickly pull out my schedule. I check the teacher. And I look at her schedule which she has in her hands.. "We're in the same homeroom together." I reply back looking at her. She just keeps staring at me... Ummmm....

"Eunhye?" I ask and wave my hands in front of her face.

"Huh?" She replies snapping out of her distant thoughts it seems like..
