14: Visitng Grandma (Eunhye POV)

*Few days after funeral and death of grandma*

"Eunhye we missed you," Soomin says as she pulled me in for a hug. Then she let me go.

"Yea, we did." Joohyuk says and also pulls me in for a hug. When he lets me go, I'm so shocked.

"Woah... Don't tell me Joohyuk just hugged me ?!" I looked at Joohyuk and made a funny face. He just smiles and knuckles my head.

"Why you don't like it? I can do it again?" He jokingly adds on.

I laugh knowing I'm so lucky to have these people in my life. I turn to Chanyeol, and he smiles at me.

"Finally it's lunch!!" Joohyuk yells.

"I know right..." Soomin adds.

I nod my head. I am pretty hungry...

"Oh Eunhye ! I made you lunch so you don't need to worry and get in line." Soomin says as turns to face me.

"Really??"

She nods her head. All four of us head to the table we sit at each day. Soomin grabs a lunch box from her bag and gives it to me.

"Thank you friend!!" I smile really big.

Soomin and Joohyuk head to the lunch line. Before Chanyeol leaves, I call him out. He looks back at me and sits next to me.

"What is it?" He asks me

"I want you to come with me somewhere with me after school. Pleaseeeeee??" I plead him.

He gives me a glare. I nudge his arm.

"Will you come??"

He thinks and looks around the lunch room.

"Never mind... You can go and get your lunch. Forget what I said earlier.." I slouch and turn back to my food.

He stands up and playfully ruffles my hair. I turn back to face him.

"Okay," he laughs, and he leaves to grab his food. I turn back to my food with a huge smile on my face.

"So where are we going?" Chanyeol asks me when we walk into the bus.

"Secret." I reply back to him.

"Wow! You're starting to become me now! Dragging me somewhere I have no clue..."

I lead him to these two seats. I sit near the window with him right next to me.

"Just tell me when we need to get off." He tells me. I nod in return.

He takes something out of his backpack. An I pod with earplugs. He takes out the right side of the earplugs and hands them to me. I hesitate then grab it and put it in my ear. He then takes the left side and puts it into his ear. He presses play and we listen to a song.

"What song is this?" I ask him.

"It's a song we sang. It's called 'lucky'," he replies.

"Ahhhhh...i like it."

After about ten minutes on the bus... We finally arrive at our final destination.

"Okay we're here!" I stand up and so does Chanyeol. He seems confused. He leads the way until we both get off the bus.

"Umm??" He looks at me puzzled.

"Just follow me," I grab his sleeve and start walking on the gravel road.

We follow the road until we reach a hill. A cemetery. I lead him up to the hill and come to an abrupt stop at a tombstone.

I take a breath in .

"Hi grandma! This is my very special friend chanyeol ," I say

"Hello grandma," Chanyeol bows

I set the flowers that I had in my backpack on the head of the stone.

"Grandma, there's a few things I want to tell you about chanyeol. Mmmm... We met in one of the weirdest ways... I accidental hit him because I thought he was some bad person in Chansoo's house. But you see.. as I've graudally gotten to know him.. He's actually very caring towards me. He has the ability to make me smile through the hard times like when you passed away.." I stop talking because I feel tears well up in my eyes. Then I feel someone pat my back gently. I turn to look at Chanyeol and give him a smile.

"I wish I would've gotten to introduce him to you earlier grandma.. He's a wonderful friend. And no one can ever replace him." I say looking back at the tombstone.
