13: I'm Here (Chanyeol POV)

I walk with Eunhye.

"So.. How did you hear about everything?" Eunhye asks me while she looks straight ahead.

"Some girls in homeroom were talking about it." I reply.

"Ohh I see," she says back.

"How are you doing though, I feel like I haven't seen you in such a long time."

She chuckles a bit. Yes, I made her smile again even if it's for a second.

"You just saw me like yesterday ," she smiles

"Well i don't know," I tell her. And truthfully I don't know why I'm acting like this or feeling like this. I don't even know what I'm feeling...

"But back to your question about how I'm doing.. I'm hanging in there... It's been really hard though because my grandma means a lot to me.." Eunhye tells me.

"Well if you need anything, I'm here okay?" I look at Eunhye.

"Thanks," she smiles at me.

I nudge her. "That's what friends are for,"

She nudges me back.

"Hey I have an Idea." I grab her hand and run.

"What is up with you and dragging me all around with you? And plus with all the weird clothes you have on to disguise yourself, it looks like you're trying to kidnap me." She laughs

"Sorry can't risk the reporters reporting things like this... I mean even though majority of the Time we're safe... But it's better to be safe than sorry. Right?"

She shrugs her shoulders and smiles.

We finally arrive at an ice cream store. My favorite ice cream store. We enter the store and the smell of fruity ice cream fills the room.

"Okay, what do you want?" I ask her.

"Why are we eating ice cream? And no it's okay... I don't want you to pay for me. I have to pay you back for the hot cocoa anyways."

"We are eating ice cream because.... Ice cream taste bests when we are sad. " I wink at her. She rolls her eyes in a joking way.

"I want to treat you out and about paying me back... I'll tell you how you can pay me back and when to pay me back. But nows not the time yet," I grab her shoulders, and we walk to the ice cream.

"Okay okay.. Fine. Deal. Just let me know how to pay you back when you have it in mind." She replies.

We pick our flavors and sit near the windows.

"Thanks for the ice cream and everything." Eunhye tells me.

I shrug my shoulders. "Sorry I can't do much though... It's the least I can do."

"It's one of the best things you can do which is by comforting me and making me smile again. I appreciate it."

"You know ... I'm kinda glad I met you. Even though the first time we met was in the weirdest ways... But in simpler words, thanks for showing up in my life when things were hard for me.." I say to Eunhye.

She looks at me and then back at her ice cream.

"No problem, I'm glad I can be here for you. Same here though... Thanks for being my friend. I know when we first met.. I maybe have seemed a bit.. Random and weird but thanks for sticking with me through thick and thin." She gives me the thumbs up.

"That's our Eunhye," I ruffle her hair and gives me the look. We both end up laughing.
