6: Egg whites (Eunhye POV)

I look up at Chanyeol. He just looks at me right in the eyes. I look back at the food and start grabbing some side dishes. When I'm finished, I silently wait for the others. Chanyeol arrives first then Joohyuk and Soomin.

"Let's go!" I say and we head back to our table.

We all sit down. I sit next to Chanyeol and Joohyuk sits across from me with Soomin on his side. I dig into the food. So good!! Then Joohyuk cracks his hard boiled egg and gives me the egg white. Ever since we were kids, he's always loved the yolk but didn't care for the egg white. I'm the total opposite. I like the egg white but don't like the yolk that much.

"Thanks!!" I say as I eat the egg white. At the corner of my eyes I see Chanyeol looking at both Joohyuk and I.

"Hey. Do you like egg yolks better or the egg white?" I say to him as I turn his direction.

He starts to choke on his food.

"Sorry!! I scared you. Here, drink this ." I hand him a bottled water. He takes it and starts drinking. I burst out laughing,

"I didn't know I was that scary... But then again, I did hit you with a broom. Your probably still traumatized by that huh?" Playfully nudging him, I laugh.

"I like the egg yolk better," Chanyeol says after drinking the water. "And I'm not that easily scared, nor am I traumatized by you hitting me with a broom."

"Really?! What happened Eunhye??" Soomin chimes in.

I tell Joohyuk and Soomin the whole story of how I met Chanyeol. We all laugh as Chanyeol and I reenact the whole scene all over again.

The bell rings and schools done for the day. I get out of my seat and stretch. Chanyeol is peacefully sleeping . During our last hour, we just have our study hall so since he had nothing to do, he decided to rest while I worked on some of my homework and projects.

I tap his shoulder.

"Chanyeol... Schools done."

I tap his shoulder again. And kneel so both are faces are near each other but not too close..

"Chanyeol.. It's ti-"

Chanyeols eyes open a little until he's fully awake.

"Hi!" I wave in front of his face. Slowly I stand up again as he sits up. He looks around the room looking confused as to how he got there.

"Ummm..." I say as I point to his cheek. "Drool...mark?" I burst laughing.

He quickly rubs the spot where his drool was.

"Sorry!" He says as he gets up. I'm still laughing, and I hear him chuckle too.

We both walk out of the classroom and meet up with Joohyuk and Soomin outside the school.
They both wave to us and we do the same back. When I arrive at the spot where Joohyuk and Soomin are, Soomin hooks her arm through mines. And all four of us start walking.

"Chanyeol Hyung!!" A voice calls out. Chansoo! Chansoo quickly runs up to his brother and they both hug each other. "We're here to pick you up," Chansoo says after hugging Chanyeol.

"Okay, let me say goodbye to my friends first." Chanyeol smiles as he ruffles Chansoo's hair. Then Chanyeol quickly turns to us. He extends his hand to Joohyuk, and they both shake hands. For Soomin and I, he just waved goodbye . When he walks toward their car, I quickly yell out.

"See you tomorrow!!" He turns around and I'm waving at him while smiling. He smiles back at me and waves back. He's one quiet guy... Either that or he's just shy around us for now... But it won't take long for him to get use to us. I grin to myself.
