Bella's Little Sister [Embry Call]

Chapter 4.

I pulled up to Embry's. I took a deep breath and looked at see Embry's old Dodge truck parked in the driveway. I got out of my car and walked up to his house. I knocked on the door two times before it opened revealing his mother, Taylor.

"Oh, Kristen! Hi. What are you doing here?" Taylor said, shocked to see me.

"Hi Taylor. Umm...I'm here to see Embry. Is he here?" I asked.

"Yeah he is," Taylor said moving out of the way. "Come in."

"Thank you!" I said walking into the house.

"Embry! Someone's here for you." Taylor called up the stairs.

"Okay mom!" Then a few seconds later Embry came jogging down the stairs.

"K-Kristen." Embry said surprised to see me.

"Hi Embry!" I greeted.

"What are you doing here?" Embry asked.

"Can we talk?" I asked. He nodded.

"Sure. Let's go for a walk." Embry said as he grabbed his coat and we walked out of the house. We walked down to the street and onto the beach. We sat on a rock.

"So what did you want to talk about?" Embry asked turning to look at me.

"Well I'm guessing I'm not the only one who remembers that night four weeks ago?" I said looking at him.

He nodded. "I remember."

"Well, Em," I trailed off.

"What Kris?"

"Embry I'm pregnant!" I told him, looking at him. He looked shocked and scared. Me and him locked eyes and his expression changed really fast to something I can't even explain.

"What?" He asked with a shocked but loving expression.

"I'm pregnant." I told him. "And I get if you don't want to be in the baby's life..." I started to tell him but shortly got cut off by Embry.

"Of course I want to be in the baby's life." He told me. "I wouldn't want anything more than to be in this child's, my child's life." He told me looking me straight in the eyes.

"Okay, that's great I'm really glad." I smiled at him before something came to my mind. "What about Evie?"

"How do you know about Evie?" Embry asked me.

"She's my nanny for the boys." I told him.

"Ah you're the young mom she nanny's for. Yeah, me and her are on the outs and have been for a while." Embry told me.

"Oh I'm so sorry!" I apologize.

"Oh, there's nothing to apologize for." Embry said. "So how are the boys?" He asked and I smiled at him.

"Well, Ashton is now five. He's in school and he absolutely loves it. He's also in baseball. Gunner, he's two and he's mostly home with Evie, he loves playing soccer with Ashton so I have a feeling next year I'm gonna put him in Soccer. He's really smart too, both the boys are." I told Embry.

"Do they know that you're pregnant?" He asked.

"No," I shook my head. "The only ones who know I'm pregnant are Evie, my dad, Sue and now you."

Embry nodded. "How did Charlie and Sue react?"

"They're supportive and can't wait to meet this little babe." I told him.

"Yeah me either." Embry smiled. The rest of the day me and Embry hung out down at the beach until it started getting late and I went back to my parents.
