For those who read the chapter "I Hope you Survive" that was NOT supposed to be published yet. Idk what happened, but spoilers I suppose 💔

"I got serious munchies. Any chips left?"

All of us sat around a fire, both Cassidy and I brought our guitars, playing songs we both knew. With things working out between us, everything felt right in the world.

"Dude, you scarfed the whole fucking bag," Hannah said. "Have another hit."

Sean sat right next to me on my right, while Daniel sat on my left. It felt safe. It felt like we finally found our place on this rock we called earth.

"Yeah, yeah, I packed a fat bowl."

"Wooooh, you see that shit? It's a fucking UFO! I'm serious, man! Look!"

Finn laughed at Penny's madness, "They're finally coming to take you back!"

Cassidy and I continued to play together until the song ended, and everyone clapped.

"Tripped on a few words, but ya'll are baked, so I'm good," Cassidy said.

"I don't give a shit what you hippies think," I told them.

"Good job, sisters," Finn said to us as I jokingly bowed.

"I also rap," I said, much to Sean's amusement. "But that's a premium subscription."

"You're joking."

"I'm so not."

Cassidy began tapping on her guitar, nodding at me to start.

"Oh shit, seriously? What part of "premium subscription" did you not understand?"

"You shouldn't have said it if you weren't going to show us."

Everyone started making sounds, giving me a beat.

"Haha, okay! But if anyone says anything mean, I WILL cry," I pointed around at people.

"We won't say anything mean, promise," Sean said to me. "If you suck, we'll pretend you don't."

I started plucking a fast tune, "I feel so grateful."

I bobbed my head to the beat, waiting for the right time to dive.

My days turn to nights

I do all these things an' I know it ain't right

I struggle to come up with good words to say

What I want, damnit, I won't get my way

I tell him I'm fine

he knows that I'm lying

I want to be flying

I promise I'm trying

Sean, loving you is what I can do
