I followed the two, remembering my chore still needed to be done.

"How was work, kiddo?" She asked him as I started moving the water tanks. They were heavy as fuck, but it was important to let (Y/N) and Daniel talk.

"Don't trip over that rock!" (Y/N) yelled, and I looked down.

There is a rock there.

"How the fuck did she know? She's not even looking at me!"

I guess I was still in denial about her power.

After struggling with the tanks, I sat down and started drawing (Y/N) as her and Daniel did the dishes.

On Christmas, (Y/N) gave me a new sketchbook because she kinda took up half the pages of mine. I really liked it, just because it was the higher quality paper, and she put a note inside. That note was what made it worth something.

Without seeing while I was drawing, someone came up to me and grabbed my shoulders, "BOO!"

I jumped, making her laugh.

Cassidy.

"Man, you are so focused when you draw pictures of your baby momma... That's cute."

"Yeah, thanks?"

She snatched my sketchbook out of my hands, "Let me be the judge."

"Woah, woah! Give it back! Please!" I did everything I could to get it back. "Cassidy!" I snatched it out of her hands, "Do not even look!"

I sat back down, looking over the cover.

"Whoa, down, boy! Really, Sean?"

"I didn't mean to freak."

I didn't know if she was going to laugh at me, call me a creep, or if it's just because only my family has ever touched my book. Either way, it being in someone else hands made me nervous.

I opened it back up to make sure my ink wasn't smudged.

"Stop this tortured artist shit. Share it! Come on."

She peered over at my book, "Fuck, you're good. You really like her..."

She flipped through the pages. Some were journals, and some were drawings of (Y/N) and Daniel.

"Well yeah, I do," I looked up at her.

"Well, now I look like the bitch," Cassidy sat next to me.

"Huh?"

"All this time, I thought I was helping you since I assumed you didn't like her. Now I look like the bitch that tried breaking a family apart. I'm so sorry..."

I looked back at (Y/N), who was drying her hands while laughing, "You should tell that to (Y/N)."

"You're kidding," She slowly blinked at me.

"I'll accept your apology when you apologize to her," I told Cassidy. "It's only fair."

"Okay, I'll do it."
