Chapter 5

A couple of weeks passed everything was going well until this evening. Evelyn went out to go shopping but she forgot to tell the others. It was almost getting dark out, she went inside to buy gifts for everyone for everything they did for her. Once she got done she starts to walk home but she heard something coming from the back alley. She walks towards the noise but she then remembers what Clara says and quickly walks the way towards the dorm.
But she fell on a rock she didn't notice on the sidewalk and grunted in pain she sat up and saw blood oozing out of her leg. She went to get up but she felt a gush of wind and a man appeared in front of her, she screamed that's when the man got closer and held out his hand
"I won't hurt you but there are vampires out here who will hurt you because your bleeding"
Evelyn was scared but she felt like she could trust him so she took his hand, and he helped her to her feet
"Okay where are you going to so I could take you there"
"To an old church not far away from here"
The vampire helped me onto his back and he runs to the old church, once we got there he gently puts me down onto to the stairs. Then all the angel warriors came out with weapons pointing at him, he puts both of his arms up in the air and stops walking.
"Stop right their Enzo" he smiles
"Well hello to you too, all I did was help this girl"
That's when Noah came out and ran towards me
"Are you okay Evelyn" she nods and wraps her arms around Noah's neck
"Noah I want to thank you him he did rescue me from the vampires" he had a worried expression but allowed it. He walked through the crowd
"Thank you for you're help Enzo" he nods and gives a slight smile and Noah walks back inside with me in his arms, then everyone else comes into let Enzo leave.
Noah takes me to the nurses room, we got to the nurses room to find Sophia helping a sick patient on a bed who looked like he was gonna puke. Evelyn knocks on the door still in Noah's arms, Sophia looks up smiling "hey you two what's up" that's when she sees my whole pants leg covered with blood from my knee down. She rushes over and clears a bed where Noah can lay me down
"Brother I need you to leave for me right quick pls," Sophia says and he nods and kisses Evelyn's head before leaving
"Text me if anything happens Evelyn" she gives him a smile and nods, he goes to walk out of the room
"Okay do you want me to cut the pants or can you do it yourself" Evelyn tried getting up but her leg felt like it was on fire standing on it and she winched in pain and she immediately got back into bed.
Sophia came over and started to cut off Evelyn's blue jean pants "I'm sorry this happened" Sophia wipes up the blood with a clean rag, she then goes to the medicine cabinet, grabs some bandages and a big wrap to wrap around the wound on Evelyn's leg. Sophia comes back and puts an application of medicine in case it leaks blood and grabs the wrap and puts it's around Evelyn's leg.
A couple of weeks later, Noah and Evelyn were about to go out but before they could they saw Enzo on the stairs bleeding out. Evelyn ran up to him and got down on her knees
"Oh my gosh! Enzo what happened are you okay?" He looked up at her with tears running down his face
"The vampires figured out I helped you and came at me, pls protect me Evelyn" she looks at Noah and he groans
"Let me go get Sophia but if he goes near you stab him in the heart" she nods and Noah walks back inside while Evelyn stays with Enzo.
