Chapter 4

Noah and Evelyn lay down they heard people screaming in the background we looked at each other but before they could speak they both were out cold from the pounding headache. Once Evelyn woke up she was in her room with her blankets over her, she looked over and saw Noah passed out in the chair next to her bed. Evelyn took off her blankets and sat up in a sitting position and looked at Noah with a slight smile on her face. He starts to move around a little, and once he does Evelyn looks away quickly that's when Sophia walks in with a tray full of medicine and bandages. She sees Evelyn awake "hey are you alright we were worried about you guys" she nods but she then gets a sudden pain that shoots up through her head out of nowhere and winches in pain and cries "make it stop it hurts" Sophia wakes up Noah and tells him what's going on, he rushes to her side and takes her hand in his. Evelyn looks up to see Noah sitting next to her with tears "Noah pls help me my head hurts it keeps pounding so bad make it stop" she says through tears. Noah nods and kisses her head gently he takes the medicine from Sophia which she had for us on a tray and we both took the medicine, Evelyn lays on Noah's arm holding onto him.
"Noah how did we get here. I don't understand" she says quietly. He looks down at her "all I remember to be honest was how we destroyed the demon by making light come from our hands"
"Then who brought us here," Evelyn asked
"It was probably Ethan, we are connected through our brother bond we can feel each other's pain and our feelings so he probably felt I was in trouble" Evelyn nodded then she remembered something
"How did we make a glowing light and kill the demon that's what I want to know"
That's when Miss Clara walks in the room
"Hey you two I see you're doing alright everything okay"
Evelyn gets up from Noah's arms "hey can I ask you something important Miss Clara" she nods and sits down in the chair where Noah was sitting in before he sat in the bed with Evelyn
"Me and Noah want to know what it means if someone can make a glowing light and kill a demon" she thinks for a while before answering
"Well if that happens you, guys would have a very strong bond that makes you guys connected some way and want to protect each other even if it means you die in the process, why ask?"
Noah and Evelyn stayed silent until
"Well me and Noah made a glowing light and killed a demon protecting people" Evelyn looked down thinking Clara might be upset at her but she came up to Evelyn and sat next to her. Clara hugged them both tightly in her embrace
"Thank you for telling me but I need you two to be very careful because you two are very powerful and evil people will find out and come after you" she stares at us for a moment and we both nod.
Once Clara left Sophia, Evelyn, and Noah sat down thinking of what might happen if anyone ever knew
"Why are we so important if we can make light with our hands is that a bad thing" Evelyn said with a sigh, that's when Sophia stood up
"Well there was a rumor that says people who can wield light, they can destroy demons and more" Noah and Evelyn were worried for what might happen in the future if anyone ever finds out about them.
