Chapter 8

It took 3 days to find anything on Tade but they finally did it. He lived in the same town they did but in most expensive part of town, he has a beautiful mansion. Sophia and Ethan came up with a plan for how they would get in. On the day the plan they had in stored arrived and Noah and Evelyn stayed behind in the car while Sophia and Ethan went inside. It took at least 10 minutes before Ethan called Noah for them to come inside. Once they got inside, they go find the other two standing next to a handsome guy who looked like he could be in his early 20's, he looks at Evelyn for a little
"You grown-up, little one" he smiles and puts his hand on her head.
Evelyn backs away nervous and hides behind Ethan
"I'm sorry but how do you know me?" He walks a little closer that's when Ethan steps in front of me, Noah rushes over to my side
"I'm sorry but she is scared if you wanna talk to her you half to stay where you are sir?," he nods and sits down on a chair near by
"You are my niece Evelyn I am your mothers brother" her three friends were shaken at this comment and came closer to Evelyn. She walks up to him and slaps him in his face
"That's for leaving me in the human world" she sighs and hugs him for a while, Tade rubs her back gently while holding onto her
"I'm sorry I left you but it was your mothers wish to keep you safe" she lets go and walks over to Noah and cries on his shoulder, he then takes her away. Sophia and Ethan stayed behind to explain why they needed him.
A couple of days have passed after they went to go see Evelyn's uncle Tade, and they made up a plan to meet up at his place. That day has arrived Evelyn wasn't ready to see him again but she had something to do and she was going to stick with it no matter what.
Evelyn walks to Sophia's room who opens her door with a smile
"Hey bestie you alright?" Evelyn shakes her head no
"I'm not ready to go see him again my uncle"
"Oh my dear, it's gonna be alright I promise you have us there with you" Evelyn gives her a small smile. They went off to find the other two boys training on the big mat. Once me and Sophia were sitting down they stopped training and walked over to us
"Hey you two you guys are up early" they both nod and smiled at them Noah walks over and sits next to Evelyn
"You okay" she gives him a faint smile and shakes her head no
"I'm terrified going there I never thought I had an uncle" he puts a hand on her shoulder and kisses her head
"We are here for you" Ethan walks over and gives me a tight hug
"Don't worry okay, you have me to protect you" he winks and sits next to Sophia
"You both are big flirts I can see why you guys are close" Sophia giggles
"They were stuck together ever since he was a child, they did everything together" they all stayed silent for a while and sat back closing their eyes. Once they got to his house, Evelyn wanted to leave but Noah promised he will be by her side the whole time. Tade opens the door and gives Evelyn a weak smile
"Hello everyone are you ready"
They all nod and head inside. Once they got inside Tade walks over to Evelyn and gives her some black chalk
"I need you to draw me a big circle and a start in the middle" she was very confused but agreed to draw it
"Where do you want me to start?" Evelyn asked, he takes her to a big room with a whole bunch of junk everywhere
"This is where I want you to draw it" she nods and gets down on her knees to start but before she could. Tade gets down with her and looks at her
"I'm sorry I couldn't take care of you" he looks down and sighs
"It's fine Tade it's in the past" she puts her free hand on his shoulder and smiles at him, they sit in silence for awhile. Tade then leave her alone to draw. After 15 minutes of drawing Evelyn meets everyone in the living room to get ready for what they are about to face. They all stood on each side of the star and help onto each other's hands
"Okay everyone this demon is very strong so don't let go of each other hands no matter what" Tade looks at everyone before we all nodded. He started to speak in a low voice but Evelyn couldn't understand she was too terrified of what might happen. That's when a burst of black smoke burst up to the ceiling making the whole room black. Sophia and Evelyn's hair were going crazy, they looked at each other for a moment and squeezed each others hands. A weird-looking shadow demon that looked like a tree with roots all over his body and his mouth, eyes looked like a burning red color. The demon came at us screaming, Evelyn flinched but she knew she couldn't let go.
"Okay everyone it's gonna take a memory to hold on." Tade yelled and they all nodded. The demon came up and it suddenly got cold in the room. Tade looked worried and suddenly Ethan fell backwards and let go of of our hands, Tade ran up to Ethan and helped him up. Evelyn was confused but didn't have time to think about this she ran over to Sophia and Noah
"Guys we half to get out of here it's getting worse" they both agreed and got up from the floor with Evelyn's help. Tade stayed behind to deal with the demon and so did Ethan to make sure Tade was okay. After a short time late, they came out from the basement. They both looked like they were gonna fall to the ground. Tade almost fell before Evelyn ran up to him and helped him.
"I got you Uncle" she said without thinking. That's when everyone turned to look at her for a second. She got embarrassed and walked off helping her uncle into his room. While Sophia and Noah helped Ethan to the couch to let him rest. Once she and Tade got to his room she helped him to bed, he looked up at her
"You've grown up into such a beautiful young lady Evelyn" she smiles a little and covers him up
"You scared me today uncle your the only family I have" she sighs and sits down on the bed next to him. He gets up and hugs her tightly in his embrace
"I'm sorry I scared you" she rolls her eyes and pushes his arms gently
"Get some sleep I will see you tomorrow" she gets up and leaves the room.
