Chapter 10

Evelyn headed outside. Where Tade can open the portal. Outside we got outside Tade turns around
"Okay everyone we are gonna stand in a circle okay"
The all nodded and started to stand in a circle except for Clara who stood on the stairs. Tade looks at us for a moment
"This is gonna be very dangerous be careful pls, especially you Evelyn" Evelyn nods, Tade backs up and starts to move his hands in a circular motion and closes his eyes and whispers something she couldn't hear. Then out of nowhere, she feels like she just got the air sucked out of her while holding onto the others hands.
She looks like she is about to throw up but keeps it in, she then closes her eyes and her feet hit's some kind of ground that felt like grass. That's when everyone lets go of each others hands. Evelyn fell on the ground and starts breathing hard and sits there for a while. Until Noah comes over to help her up. Once we got ready to go Tade stopped us. He took my arm and pulled me back
"I'm not going anywhere with you plus we already made plans" Tade looks a little sad at this comment but he lets go. But tags along with them. They all head to the big building not far from where they landed. Sophia and Ethan get ready in an outfit for a king and queen. Once they got ready, they walked off and the rest stayed behind for the cue. After a couple of hours, Clara texted us to hurry and go.
Evelyn and Noah get ready to go in but they spotted a guard looking their way, so they ducked down as quickly as they could. That's when Noah took out his phone and texted his mom, he was in trouble. Before they knew it they heard Sophia and Ethan's voices getting closer to them. Ethan went up to the guard
"Hey how have you been it's been a while" he was very confused but Evelyn and Noah got away just in far enough they both stopped in their tracks and had to catch their breath. Evelyn tried catching her breath but she felt an urge to keep going like something was pulling her towards something.
She walks towards towards a frozen lake. Noah follows her, he was very curious why she went this way. That's when Evelyn fell in and was screaming trying to get out
"Noah pls help!" Noah runs over quickly as he could. But before he could she was pulled down by something really big. Evelyn tried kicking but nothing was working then she saw a glowing light coming by really fast and cutting threw the thing that was holding her down. She then swan up as fast as she could coughing up water all soaking wet. Noah grabs her and pulls her up when he does pull her up the sword comes out splashing us with more water and puts itself in Evelyn's hands. Evelyn and Noah look at each other, and he covers up Evelyn with his jacket. He then takes his phone out and texts everyone to come over now it's an emergency. A couple of minutes later everyone comes including Tade. They all rush over seeing me all drenched then all of their eyes go wide once they see the sword.
Tade glares at Noah
"How did she get so wet I thought you were protecting her" Evelyn stands up shaking
"Uncle it's not his fault I felt something making me go this way" he stares at her for a minute.
Then after a moment of silence, everyone started to leave the icey lake to leave Evelyn and Tade there, they looked at each other for a moment and left together.
