Sword of destiny

Chapter 7

We went up the mountain and went to a huge cave at the very top of the mountain it felt like a very long hike. But once we got there two creepy demon-looking things were standing in black robes they looked like they had no eyes Evelyn thought. One of them looked at her and spoke "Evelyn Novak are you sure you wanna go threw with this?" She nods. They lead her down a dark narrow cave leading down to a room with a huge circle in the middle of the room that had weird symbols surrounding the circle and a sword up on the wall with the blade facing down.
They look at her once they all enter. Evelyn was scared at first "get in the circle pls" one of them told her in her mind. Evelyn walks into the middle of the circle and looks at Noah with a worried look in her eyes. He smiles at her while he stands in the corner, that's when one of the silent demons lifts his hands towards the ceiling, and all the lights cut off surrounding them in the dark.
Before they knew it candles lit up surrounding the circle, Evelyn was terrified but she knew she had to be brave. One of the silent demons walks forward
"Are you ready Miss Novak" she nods and then lifts their right hand in the air bringing the sword down slowly. They gently lift Evelyn's head up with the other free hand and made the blade go between her eyebrows. She closes her eyes for awhile, Evelyn was in a dark room with no windows or doors to see where she was. She was worried it might not work then all of a sudden she was pulled into a memory. Evelyn was standing in a room in the far corner, she sees a baby in a rocker asleep.
The lady she saw last time enters the room and goes to the sleeping baby and picks her up. Then some kind of ugly demon that had horns come up to the lady wearing an all-black outfit he was a little taller than the lady and hugged her with the baby in her arms. Evelyn was pulled into another dream where she was riding a bike with her mother with a smile on her face. She walks up to the little girl on the bike and was thinking how she wished she was a kid again, she tried looking around for the sword, and then she was pulled into another dream but this was in a dark rusty attack with her adopted mom holding the sword
"I miss you sister and don't worry I'm taking great care of your daughter" she starts to get tears. That's when she wakes up gasping for breath
"My real mom fell in love with a demon and my adopted mother was my aunt this whole time" Evelyn feel down and starts sobbing. Noah runs up and holds her in his embrace
"Shhh princess I'm here" she holds onto him for a while. Then Sophia and Ethan and walks up to them and gets down on their knees
"Evelyn I'm so sorry. We are here for you if you need us" she looks up at them and smiles knowing she has people who care for her. She and Noah get off the ground, Evelyn looks at the demons "thank you for your help" and they all left. Once they got outside, she looked at her friends "guys I have something to say," they all turned around and looked at her "when I was in the dream world I saw the sword again but I still couldn't find its location" she looks at Noah. He comes over to Evelyn and hugs her, then Sophia comes up and kisses my head "it's okay Evelyn we will find another way, but we did find out something your mind was blocked we just half to figure out by who?" They all came together and tried thinking, Evelyn didn't know anybody except her mom's friend Dash. She finally spoke "I might have someone in mind, we can talk to his name is Dash he was my mothers friend" they all nodded and headed towards the parking lot of the mountain. Once they get to the base, Noah and Ethan went to go to the their mother to tell her what happened in the mountains. Before Evelyn knew it was Clara rushing into the room and went over to Evelyn who was sitting in her chair
"Are you okay dear?" She nods and holds Clara's hands
"I have this friend my mom knew ever since she was adopted his name is Dash"
Clara had a look like she was thinking then she spoke, "honey Dash is the leader of the wolves, are sure he helped you guys?" Evelyn nods and pulls out her phone to show a picture of her and Dash in a picture. After a couple of minutes, Evelyn texts Dash to meet up at a cafe near the base, but Clara wanted her kids to come along Evelyn agreed and they set off.
Once they got to the caffe they all sat at a table to wait. A tall guy with brown hair wearing a black suit came to the table
"I see you finally figured out who you truly are" Evelyn gets up and hugs Dash smiling
"You knew this whole time and didn't tell me?" He shrugged and sat down next to Ethan. He smiles
"It's nice to see you all grown up" Noah, Sophia, and Ethan were very confused
"You know us?" Ethan asked,
"Yes actually I a friend of Miss Moore before I was attacked by a wolf." They all looked at Dash with confusion settling in
"Dash I have a question?" He looks at Evelyn "I know my memories were blocked can you tell me who did it?" He sighs "well he is a high warlock and he and your Aunt were close" Evelyn was wondering what he meant they were close
"They grew up together many years ago and she wanted your memories to be blocked until you were 18 and start to get them back on your own" she sighs and hides her face in her arms.
"So you're telling me my Aunt the one raised me blocked my memories by the help of a high and powerful warlock?" He nods and stands up to get ready to leave " I half to leave can't be here long" Evelyn gets up and walks over to him
"Tell me his name first before you leave pls"
"His name is Tade" the other three mouths opened wide and got up quickly
"No it can't be him he is the oldest warlock and the most powerful" Ethan smiled "and hot too" Ethan said underneath his breath.
Sophia giggles and pushed Ethan a little, he rolled his eyes and looked away. Dash walks out the door to leave us alone with us to deal with this information, she walks over to Sophia and lays her head on her shoulder
"It's okay sweetie" they all left the coffee shop and went to the base to find the warlock who stole her memories.
