Chapter Four

(On the streets of London)

The family are walking down the path to find where they needed to go for the boys' school supplies. While walking, Harry was reading the letter.

"All students must need the following books and supplies. And they are allowed, if they choose, are either an owl, a cat or a toad." Harry read out. He then looked up to Bellatrix. "Are you sure we can find all of this in London?"
"If you do know where to go." She simply answered.

They entered what looks like a simple pub, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals or their drinks. It has the friendly vibe surrounding the area.

"Aunt Bellatrix, what is this place?" Harry asked.
"This is called the Leaky Cauldron. It's both a pub and an inn." Bellatrix answered.

Just then, the man behind the booth sees her.

"Ah, Bella. Would you like your usual?" He asked her.
"Oh, no. Thank you, Tom. I'm actually on a Hogwarts business. These two boys are on their way for their school supplies." Bellatrix answered.
"Bless my soul. It's Harry Potter." Tom gasped.

The entire pub went silent and look at the family. But one giant man stood up and walked up towards them.

"Boy, I haven't seen you since was a baby, Harry." The man spoke up.
"Hagrid. I knew you be here. Boys, this is Rubeus Hagrid. He is the groundskeeper of Hogwarts. And he can also be your closest friend. Hagrid, you already know Harry Potter. And this is also my nephew, Draco Malfoy." Bellatrix spoke
"Very nice to meet you." Draco said and took out his hand.
"You as well, Mr. Malfoy. I knew your mum and dad when we were young." Hagrid said and shook Draco's hand. "So, you 3 ready?"
"Ready for what?" Harry asked.
"He's going to take us where we need to go." Bellatrix said and they walk towards to the back.

As walking, everyone greeted Harry and shook his hand. He now feels like he is important to this new world that he was now part of.

"Harry...Potter. Can't tell how...please I am to meet you." A man in a purple turban spoke.
"Hello, Professor. I didn't see you there. Harry, Draco, this is Professor Quirinus Quirrell. He will be your Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts." Hagrid introduce.
"Very nice to meet you." Harry greeted and extended his hand which Quirrell refused.
"Fascinating subject. N...n...not that you need it, eh Potter?" Quirrell stuttered.
"Yes, well, we have to go now. We have lots to buy." Bellatrix said and they all headed to the back of the pub.

"See, Harry? You are famous." Draco said.
"But why am I famous? All those people back there. How is it that they know who I am?" Harry asked the trio.
"I'm not sure one of us are best to tell ya, Harry." Hagrid said and pull out his pink umbrella and tap on 5 particular bricks to what looked like a combination. Then all of sudden, the bricks move around and makes a pathway to what may look like an entrance. Bellatrix can see that Harry is at awed to what he now sees.

"Welcome, Harry, to Diagon Alley." Bellatrix said.

All 4 walk out and it what looks like a shopping centre and Harry can't stop looking around to what he is seeing. He sees places where you can get haircut, a shop that sells owls, new clothes, brooms, books, and everything his eyes can see. But something did catch his eye and it was the same with Draco. They both saw two young ladies with their parents. One of them has long, bushy brunette hair and one with dark long straight hair.

"Eyes forward, boys." Bellatrix warned them
"Sorry, Aunt Bellatrix." They apologized

Their guardian simply chuckled knowing that she was like that when she was young as well

"So, Aunt Bellatrix. How are we going to pay for all of this? I don't have any money with me." Harry asked his guardian.
"Well, your money is in there, Harry." Bellatrix showed him.

She points to a very tall building.

"That's Gringotts Bank. One of the safest place. Well, next to Hogwarts, perhaps." Hagrid said

(Inside the bank)

The main hall is very well lit and there are desks all connected. Harry was seeing what look like weird creatures in clothes.

"Aunt Bellatrix. What exactly are these things?" He asked her.
"They're goblins, Harry. Cleaver as they can be, but they're not very friendly. Stay close to me." Belaltrix said and he does so.

They reached the front desk and Hagrid cleared his throat to get the banker's attention who seemed to be working on papers.

"Mr. Harry Potter and Mr. Draco Malfoy wishes to make a withdraw." Hagrid spoke

The Head Goblin puts his quil in the ink bottle.

"I see. And does both Mr. Harry Potter and Mr. Draco Malfoy have their keys?" he asked
"I have Mr. Malfoy's." Bellatrix spoke and pulls it out of her coat pocket.
"And I have Mr. Potter's." Hagrid spoke and did the same. "Oh, and there's something else as well." Hagrid spoke and pulled out a tied up letter with "TOP SECRET" stamped on it. "Professor Dumbledore gave me this for you."

He hands it to the goblin.

"It's about you-know-what in Vault you-know-which." Hagrid said very quietly
"Very well." The goblin said and let the 4 into the vaults

Each of them took 2 separate transportation

"You 3 head on to your vaults. I have to do a bit of Hogwarts business. Won't be too long." Hagird said.
"Alright. We'll meet you back at the main hall." Bellatrix replied

Each cart went separate ways. Harry was fascinated on how the vaults are different than the bank vaults in the Muggle world. They stop at one which seemed to be Draco's family vault. The goblin got off first.

"Lamp, please." He asked.

Bellatrix hands him the detached lamp and hands it to the goblin and they walk to the door.

"Key, please." He asked once again

Bellatrix traded the lamp for the key. The goblin slides the key in and opens up revealing the Malfoy vault. To Harry sight, he was surprised to how much they have.

"Wow, Draco. Your family must be rich here." Harry complimented
"We are. But, I would only use my part of the money for school supplies." Draco said.

Draco went in and grabbed enough to purchase what he needs, and they all headed back to the cart to move on to the next vault which is 2 levels up above where they were before. Bellatrix can see that he is still at awed at their surrounding.

"Are you enjoying yourself, darling?" She asked him
"Yes, Aunt Bellatrix." Harry simply answered
"I'm glad. I'm sure it would be more fun with your parents."
"It would, but I'm glad I am here with you and Draco."

That made her smile knowing that he still loves being under her guardianship. The cart to slow down and ceased.

"Vault 687." The goblin said as everyone stepped out of the cart

He asked for the lamp again and Draco hands him the lamp and they all walk towards the vault. Bellatrix once again traded the key to Harry's vault for the lamp and the goblin unlocks revealing the amount of money Harry inherit from his parents.

"You didn't think your Mum and Dad wouldn't leave with nothing, did you?" Bellatrix said.

Harry grabbed the amount of money he feels like he would need to pay off for what he needs on his list, including his school robes.

"Thanks again, Aunt Bellatrix. You're truly the best." Harry thanked as they all left the vault.
"You're welcome. Now, let's go wait for Hagrid. I'm sure he would love to join us." Bellatrix spoke
