The train is on the way making it to Hogwarts full-steam ahead. It's all hustle and bustle in the carts with the 1st year students feeling all excited that they get to learn spells, charms, potions and everything.
(Harry and Draco's cart)
"So, Draco. What do you think we will learn at the school?" Harry asked him
"Well, Harry. From what I learned about the curriculum, we learn subjects like Transfiguration, Potions, Herbology, Flying lessons, and so on. We're going to learn a lot." Draco explained.
"This should be fun."
"Excuse me." They hear a voice
Both boys see the two girls they saw a while at Diagon Alley.
"Do you mind if my friend and I join you? It seemed everyone else is full." The bushy brunette asked them.
"Of course. Please do so." Harry insisted.
The two young ladies went to see at the empty seats across from the boys.
"I'm Draco Malfoy." He introduced himself
"Pansy Parkinson." The dark haired girl responded
"I'm Hermione Granger." The brunette introduced next
"I'm Harry. Harry Potter."
Both girls gasped
"I thought that was you. I thought you were at Diagon Alley that day when I went shopping with Pansy." Hermione said
"So, if you don't mind, do you really have..." Pansy hesitated
"I'm sorry?" Harry asked
"The scar."
He removed a patch of hair to reveal his lightning bolt scar on his forehead
"That is bloody wicked." She said
"So, if I may ask, Harry. Is it true that your guardian is Bellatrix Lestrange?" Hermione asked
"Yes. Hermione. But she goes by her maiden name." Draco explained
"But we still treat her like family."
"So, do you live with him as well, Draco?" Pansy asked
"Aunt Bellatrix thought it would be a wise idea to have a relative that she is close to for Harry and we have been inseparable." Draco explained once again.
"I think it's great that she is getting a second chance." Hermione complimented
They heard a cart strolling by and the trolly lady asked,
"Anything off the trolley, dears?"
"Ladies, would you like anything?" Harry offered
They both smiled indicating it's a yes
"We'll take the lot, please." Harry asked and pulls out coins for payment
After receiving a bunch load of sweets, they all chow down.
"Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans?" Harry reads out
"They do mean every flavor. You can get chocolate and peppermint. But, I would avoid one that taste like a boogie or earwax. They taste nasty." Pansy informed Harry.
He puts the box down and grab something else.
"Draco, are these real frogs?" Harry asked his cousin
"No. It's just a spell. You mostly want the cards inside." Draco explained
Harry opens it up and the frog jumped out and out the open window.
"Don't feel bad, Harry. It's what they do." Draco assured him
Harry takes the card out and see who he got
"I got Albus Dumbledore." Harry tells the gang
"Our headmaster." Hermione informed him
Harry looked down and see that Dumbledore is gone
"He's gone." Harry gasped
"In the Wizarding World, they don't stay there all day." Pansy tells her new friend.
"Well, in the Muggle world, they actually do." Hermione informs
"They do?"
"Yes. You didn't see any with me cause I don't collect Muggle cards."
"Wow. So, Harry. Do you your bloodline?"
"Bloodline?" Harry doesn't understand
"Every witch and wizard has a bloodline depending on who they are born to. There's Muggle-born. They are born to family who do not have any magical heritage. Half-bloods are witches and wizard who are born to one magical parent and one Muggle parent. And there's Pure-bloods who are born to both magical parents." Pansy explained
"She's right. I'm Muggle-born. Both my parents are Muggles." Hermione aided her friend
"With me, Harry. I'm Pureblood since both my mother and father are magical." Draco said
"You and me both, Draco." Pansy jumped in.
"So, I guess I'm a half-blood/" Harry tells them
"Yes. From what I read about you, your father James Potter is a Wizard with pureblood in his heritage and your mother, Lily Potter, was Muggle-born. There's nothing to be ashamed about it." Hermione answered.
He knows he's right. There's nothing wrong with his bloodline. Harry feels like he has an opportunity to make them proud of him while attending Hogwarts.
"So. Harry, do you know any spells in case our professors wants a demostrations?" Hermione asked
He shook his head
"It's alright. I know one and I can teach you. May I borrow your glasses?" Hermione offered
He hands them to her. She then breaks it with her foot.
"Now, before you say anything. Here's the spell." Hermione assured her
She points her wand at the broken glasses
"Occulus repairo." She casted and his glasses are fixed and she hands Harry his glasses.
"Wow. That's amazing. Thank you, Hermione." Harry thanked and puts his glasses back on.
"It's a standard spell for beginners. I know others but you can use that." Hermione tells him
"Thanks. I think we're going to be good friends."
"I agree with Harry." Draco stepped in
"Let's make a deal that no matter where we are sorted, we stay friends." Pansy suggested
They all put their hand over the other
"Once we stepped off this train and we are sorted into one of the 4 houses, we stay friend especially over the holidays." Draco says
"Agreed." The 3 agreed
"Well, it looks like.." Hermione said as they see a young boy looking in their compartment
"I'm terribly sorry. Have any of you seen a toad?" The boy asked
"I'm sorry, no." Draco answered.
"We'll let you know if we see it." Harry tells him
"Thank you. I'm Neville Longbottom." He introduce himself.
"Nice to meet you."
Neville then leaves to keep searching for his toad
"Well, we probably should look around but we should change into our robes." Hermione suggested.
"Well, Harry and I can step out so you two ladies can changed first." Draco offered.
"He's right. You two should changed first and we can changed later." Harry agreed.
Both girls smiled seeing how polite and very well mannered they were raised growing up.
"You two are the best. Thank you. Your aunt really has raised your right." Hermione complimented
"Thank you." Harry thanked and got up and Draco followed them
"Oh. Pansy, you have a little bit of dirt on your nose." Draco informed her
She looks at her reflection and sees that he was right
"Thank you, Draco." Pansy thanked
Draco nodded and left
