05 | mistress

I walked down the familiar street to the beach, there were still people roaming the street and outside the small restaurants, laughing loudly and conversing with one another.

Getting to the beach, my feet hit the warm sand and the crashing of the waves became louder the closer I walk.

The beach wasn't empty like you would assume it would be at night. There were still people here, sitting out in the sand and trying not to waste a good summer night.

I walk past the palm trees and out to where the cliff is, seeing Minho sit on a large rock. Not the same one Caroline was on thank god, that would be weird.

"Casanova here at the cliff, waiting here for his mistress?" I spoke up as I walk towards him.

Minho turns his head to look at me "Are you the mistress?"

I froze "No, I was kidding"

Minho laughs and scoots over for me to sit and I do, looking up to the moon. "What exactly am I here for?"

"Don't you want rules? Boundaries?"

I shrug "Well isn't it simple, it's only fake dating"

Minho chuckles "Yeah but what about how we're gonna make everyone believe us?"

"Right," I said, scratching my neck nervously "I forgot about that part"

Minho leans closer to me "What are your boundaries?"

I swallow harshly "W-What?"

Minho smiles smugly, knowing he's affecting me. "Boundaries, do you have any?"

"Umm-l-let's not overdo it" I stumble over my words. "I'm not the type to show a lot of PDA so if I suddenly do then it would be weird and look forced"

Minho nods "I agree, what about our friends though?"

I shrug "I don't know, maybe tell them tomorrow"

Minho laughs "That would be weird to just tell them out of nowhere that we're dating"

"Hyunjin suspects something already"

Minho furrows his brows "Maybe we can find a way to all hang out again, maybe out by the lake"

"How does this go along with our plan?"

"Think of it like a soft launch, maybe if we flirt and act differently towards one another around them they won't be surprised Monday"

I bite my bottom lip and look down "Dang, how are you so good at this?" I look up and notice his eyes flick up from my lips.

I swallow harshly and Minho just stares at me "What's the overall end plan?"

I sigh "How about we just take it day by day?"

Minho looked unsure but nods nonetheless "Sounds good"

Minho pulls out his phone and hands it to me "Here, give me your number"

I grab it and type in my number, giving it back to him. I hop off the rock and look at him "Good night Casanova"

Minho laughs and says "Goodnight, my mistress" I roll my eyes and walk away.
