06 | he's hot

"I can't believe I agreed to this" Hyunjin says, swatting any bugs that get near him.

"I think it will be fun," Felix says, watching his every step—trying not to trip over a log.

"Felix is right" I add, my gaze falling on the lake that became more visible. Loud laughing echoed through the tall trees. "Plus, I have my reasons"

The two stop and look at me, let the game begin.

"Is there something we need to know about?" Hyunjin asks, smirking at me and I shrug.

"Maybe" I smile and bite my bottom lip, turning around and continuing my walk "Maybe not" I mumble.

"There they are!" Chan says, getting out of the water and running up to us, engulfing me in a big hug but I knew it wasn't in a loving way but more in the way that he just wanted to get me wet as his clothes are soaked.

I push him off "Back off, I wasn't planning on getting wet today"

"That's no fun, it's the last day of summer brother" I roll my eyes, and he chuckles, ruffling my hair before running down the dock and jumping off.

My eyes roam around the lake and land on one familiar and particular boy.

He must have got out when Chan did because he was soaked. Water dripped down his toned chest and ran down his perfectly sculpted face. His swim shorts stuck to his built thighs—

"Jisung" I turn my head to see Felix smiling at me and Hyunjin analyzing the situation.

"Yeah?" I walk up to them and they already sat down on their towels.

"You seemed to get lost there"

"Not just lost, he was totally checking out Minho" Hyunjin threw in and my cheeks turned a deep scarlet. "And now you look like a kid that got caught with his hand in the cookie jar" Hyunjin chuckles.

"I-I do not!"

"It's understandable, he's hot" I froze. Hyunjin thinks Minho's hot? This is the first time I've heard about this.

"Who's hot?" I turn and Minho walks up to us, a towel in his hands as he dries his hair with it roughly.

"Nobody," I said quickly, and the thing was I could have told him and it would of went along with our plan but I couldn't let him know that I was just checking him out. Not that I was.

Minho smirks and walks closer to me but still kept a distance "Really? I could have sworn I heard my name"

I shook my head "You heard wrong"

Minho looks at Felix and Hyunjin "He's lying isn't he?" They nod slowly and I mentally curse them out. Minho looks at me again, biting at his bottom lip as turns to walk away.

I sigh and once I know he's far away I turn to my two now ex-best friends. "What the fuck?!" I whisper-shout. "Way to push me under the bus" I cross my arms and glare at them.

"Forget about us pushing you under the bus, he was flirting"

I roll my eyes and sit down on Felix's towel. I look out at the boys and they are all in the water, laughing and splashing with each other.

"They're like kids," Hyunjin says, a grimace on his face but something else was hidden in it.

My eyes landed back on the boy, his big smile as he climbs back onto the dock. Clearly out of breath as he lets his body fall to lay out. The sun hit his body and made every water drop glisten.

I swallow harshly and push myself up on my feet again, looking at Felix and Hyunjin "I'll be back"

I didn't wait for them to question me as I walk to the dock, the loud laughter of the boys becoming louder but they were all still in the water. I walk closer to the boy who laid out on the dock, his chest rising and falling, soaking up all the sun he can get.

I lick my lips and stood where my shadow blocked the sun from his face, making him open his eyes. A small smile finds his face.

"Hi"

I sigh "Hi" I walk beside him and sit down, he does the same. Pushing the wet hair from his face, he looks at me "I didn't say you were hot by the way"

He hums, and I glare at him "I didn't!" I pout and look out to the water "They said it and you showed up"

"You're friends think I'm hot?"

I scoff and look at him "Everyone thinks that not just my friends"

He searches my face and I look away, "Do you?"

I freeze, my eyes were on the group in the water but my mind was on him. "No"

Minho laughs loudly and I look at him again, "How do you find that funny? I just said you were unattractive to me"

With a smile still on his face, he says "Because you're full of shit"

"I just told you the truth, now you're in denial"

Minho's eyebrows raise "Is that so?" I nod, "So, you weren't checking me out earlier?"

Fuck, he heard that. I just stare at him and shake my head slowly "Nope"

Minho nods and looks to the water "Good to know, now I won't feel so bad for doing this"

I look at him and he looks at me with a smile "Wha-" before I knew it he pushed me into the cold water and I swim back to the surface immediately. Looking up at him on the dock as he laughs loudly "You are fucking dead!" I yell at him and I look at the others and they laugh loudly.
