(3rd Person Pov)
"Another price increase.. don't you think it's getting a little expensive?" Nami queried with a taut expression, her fingers delicately extracting a coin before depositing it into the seagull's pouch.
"Raise the price again and I won't be buying your papers anymore." The navigator huffed out of frustration as the seagull responded with a noticeably acrid caw.
"What are you getting so riled up about? It's just a newspaper." not looking up from his intricate work.
"Daily expenses all add up, don't you know?" Nami shrugged watching the seagull take flight, disappearing into the distance from the deck of the Going Merry.
"I thought you were done saving money." Usopp gave her a quick glance. "Don't be stupid! From now on I'm going to be saving up money for no one but me! There's no way I'm going to be a penniless pirate!" Nami's voice rose in intensity as she emphatically gestured towards the sharpshooter.
"Good luck with that, I wouldn't get my hopes up when it comes to this crew." Y/N interjected from the sidelines, an amused observer to their squabble.
"Okay, okay. I'm in the middle of developing my secret tabasco star so keep away!" Usopp added waving a dismissive hand in Nami's general direction. "An enemy who gets it in their eye, will be rendered completely helpl-"
Usopp's explanation was abruptly cut short as Luffy, in his usual boisterous manner, collided with his table, resulting in an unintended discharge of tabasco straight into Usopp's eye.
"Keep your hands off!" Sanji yelled from the upper deck as Usopp's screams filled the air, his eyes alight with fiery agony.
"Oh come on! Can't I have at least one?" Luffy sat up and tried to convince the blond cook. "Absolutely not."Sanji replied icily before shifting his attention to Nami.
"These are Nami's beloved orange trees! I won't let anyone even lay a finger on them!" Sanji stated as he guarded the bush. "Nami rest assured, my defence powered by love is infallible." The cook affirmed, crossing his arms as his eyes formed hearts
"Thanks alot Sanji." Nami said with a smile as she continued reading her news paper. "How noisy.." The H/C haired male rolled his eyes in mild irritation.
"What a tool." Zoro added dryly, observing the chaotic scene from his reclined position on the upper level.
"GYAAAAAAAH!" Usopp's cries of distress continued unabated, largely ignored by his fellow Straw Hats.
"We're finally on our way to the grand line!" Luffy exclaimed arms raised high from enthusiasm.
"I just hope we're through with battling those fishes," Y/N remarked, the corners of his mouth lifting into a smile.
"The world's in such turmoil.. another coup d'etat in villa..?" Nami's voice trailed off as she turned the pages of her newspaper, an unexpected piece of paper slipping from between the sheets.
"Huh? There's flyers." Luffy hummed, his curiosity piqued as they looked at the items more closely.
"Hm?" Y/N tilted his head.
"Ah.." Nami sweated.
"Aghh!" Usopp furrowed his brows.
"AH!" Luffy's mouth agape, Zoro continued his slumber, undisturbed.
"AHHHHHHH!" A collective exclamation erupted from the ship as they grasped the significance of the two flyers.
The ship now heads for grand-line
