The rain poured down relentlessly over the kingdom of Alabasta, drumming steadily against the stone walls and flooding the streets with its ceaseless rhythm. It was as if the heavens were weeping for the recent turmoil the land had endured. Inside the palace, in a quiet medical care room, Princess Vivi sat alone by the window, her gaze distant as she watched the rain cascade down, endlessly. Around her, the Straw Hat crew lay sleeping, their exhausted bodies finally finding rest after the hard-won peace.

A figure stepped quietly into the room. “Princess Vivi, are you still awake…?” Igaram’s voice was gentle, full of concern as he took in the sight of the young princess by the rain-soaked window.

She looked over her shoulder, a soft smile touching her lips. “Igaram…”

“Having trouble falling asleep?” he asked, crossing his arms with a fatherly air of concern.

Vivi shook her head slowly. “No... I just don’t want to sleep. That’s all. I want to keep watching this rain… as long as it falls.” She turned back to the window, her smile wistful, as though she were seeing far more than the rain itself.

Three days passed.

“Hmph!” Y/N grunted as he whipped a fierce wind into motion, hurling it with everything he had at a massive boulder in the training yard. Over and over, he pushed himself, each strike of wind leaving him panting harder, his muscles beginning to burn, his face damp with sweat.

Several meters away, Zoro sat in quiet concentration, a massive boulder balanced on each arm. His breaths were steady and deep, his gaze unflinching. The intensity of his focus matched Y/N’s efforts.

Y/N let out a frustrated exhale, his hand clenched as a gust of wind swirled around his fist. “I need to get stronger. I won’t be pushed around again.” He smashed his fist into yet another rock, sending small stones scattering as he paused to look over at Zoro.

“You feel the same way, don’t you?”

Without missing a beat, Zoro opened his eyes, his intense stare meeting Y/N’s. “...Yeah.”

Suddenly, Y/N’s stomach let out a low, insistent grumble. He smirked, letting the wind dissipate around him. “Ah, seems like it’s lunchtime.”

With a thud, Zoro let the boulders drop from his arms. “Yeah, let’s go,” he said, his voice casual as they headed back toward the palace.

The door creaked open as Y/N stepped into the dimly lit room they were staying in, immediately spotting Luffy, who was sitting up, eyes bright with his usual untamable energy.

“Oh, you’re awake, Luffy?” Y/N asked, arching a brow in surprise.

Luffy turned and threw his hand up in an easy wave. “Oh, hey, Y/N. Long time no see!”

“AHHH!” Chopper’s high-pitched gasp filled the room as he caught sight of Y/N and Zoro entering. His small hooves clattered against the floor as he darted forward, eyes wide with concern. “You two went out training again, didn’t you?!”

Zoro crossed his arms, glancing away dismissively. “It’s my own body,” he muttered, trying to shrug off Chopper’s worry.

But Chopper wouldn’t have it, stomping his little foot with unexpected authority. “No means no! I’m the doctor here! And don’t even think about taking off those bandages!”

“Hah?” Y/N frowned, tugging uncomfortably at the tightly wrapped gauze around his torso. “But it’s hard to move around in them,” he grumbled, only to be met by Chopper’s indignant yell.
