"What did Ace give you?" Usopp's voice brimmed with curiosity, his eyes fixed on Luffy, waiting for an answer.

Luffy reached deep into his pocket, fingers brushing against something small and seemingly insignificant. Slowly, he pulled out a humble, creased piece of paper and held it up for Usopp to see. “Just this,” he said with a puzzled expression. “It’s a piece of paper. Nothing’s written on it either, I don't get it." His brows knitted together in confusion as he flipped the paper over, examining both sides with a frown.

For a brief moment, the mystery of the object weighed on Luffy, but just as quickly, his face lit up with newfound determination. “But Ace told me to hold on to it, so I will!" he declared, his voice steady and resolute. He thrust the paper towards Nami, the intensity in his eyes unwavering. "So sew it in real tight!!"

Nami gave him a small, knowing smile, gently taking the paper from his hand. With careful fingers, she folded it and tucked it securely into the band of Luffy’s beloved straw hat. Handing the hat back, she said, “There, it’s in the band. All safe now."

Luffy beamed, his grin stretching from ear to ear as he took the hat from her. “Great, Nami! Now I won’t ever lose it!” He adjusted the hat on his head, patting it down with confidence.

As the crew began gathering their supplies, Vivi approached Luffy and Y/N, her arms holding out garments that seemed more suited for a harsh environment than a typical adventure. The clothes were long, flowing, and designed to cover nearly every inch of skin, their heavy fabric promising protection from the unforgiving desert sun. “You both need to wear these,” she said firmly, her tone leaving no room for argument.

Luffy’s eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at the clothes, his mouth dropping open. “Huh!? Why!?” he exclaimed, clearly taken aback.

“Wouldn’t it make more sense to wear something lighter? We’ll roast in those!” Y/N argued, eyeing the thick material with a frown.

Vivi’s gaze remained steady, her voice resolute. “The desert can reach temperatures over 120 degrees during the day. If your skin is exposed, it will burn.” Her words hung in the air, serious and unyielding, as she locked eyes with them, urging them to understand.

“Why do you guys get the cool clothes and I don’t?” Chopper pouted, a hint of jealousy in his voice.

Nami quickly reassured him, her tone gentle. “We’ll all be covered up, Chopper.”

But Sanji, who had been lingering nearby, couldn’t contain his heartbreak, tears streaming dramatically down his face. “What!!? You’re going to be covered up!!?” he wailed, as if the news had shattered his soul. His exaggerated despair was impossible to miss as Luffy and Y/N reluctantly went off to change.

Amid the commotion, Chopper’s attention was abruptly drawn to their surroundings. His small body stiffened as he peered around, his eyes wide with alarm. “Wait! We’re at the edge of the island!?” he cried out, panic creeping into his voice.

Vivi, ever patient, pointed across the water with a calm demeanor. “This isn’t the edge of the island, Chopper. We’re standing on the bank of the Sandora River. The far bank is over there,” she explained, her voice soothing.

Chopper let out a sigh of relief, his little shoulders relaxing. “Oh, you’re right,” he murmured, slightly embarrassed.

Vivi then unfurled a carefully drawn map, spreading it out before the crew. “Look, I’ve marked our destination on the map. It’s the oasis town of Yuba!” Her finger traced the path leading to their goal.

Zoro leaned in, his voice low and serious. “That’s where the leader of the rebels is, right?”

Luffy punched the air enthusiastically, his face brimming with excitement. “Yeah! We’re gonna kick his butt!”
