“You think if we dumped a bucket of water on her, her fever might go down…?” Luffy suggested, his tone nonchalant and utterly serious as he scratched the back of his head.

“ARE YOU AN IDIOT!?” Sanji and Vivi shouted in unison, their voices rising in exasperation as they delivered a kick to his chest.

“Well anyway, the sun’s already going down for the day,” Y/N said with a resigned sigh, turning to face Vivi.

The sky, streaked with hues of orange and pink, cast a soft glow over the ship’s deck.

“Right…” Vivi nodded. “I guess we better drop the anchor for the night then. Without Nami’s navigational sense, sailing in the dark would be too risky…”

The gentle creaking of the ship’s timbers and the rhythmic sound of the waves against the hull punctuated the conversation.

The ambient noise of the sea continued its steady, soothing cadence.

Tsk…. Tok

Tsk…. Tok

The sound of the clock ticking away seemed to underscore the fading light, as the crew went about their tasks, preparing for a night of rest on the open water.

Night had fallen on the going merry and Nami shot up from her bed breathing heavily.

Slowly she looked around and first saw Y/N's radiant (H/C) hair resting on the side of the bed. With a soft smile upon her face she continued to look around the room to see everyone completely asleep.

The smile stretching on her face she laid down once again and closed her eyes.

The next day...

"Vivi, what do we do!? Nami's fever isn't going down!" Sanji bursted into the room with winter attire on.

"Sanji! Karoo! You have to be quiet!" Vivi hissed as she mended Nami who laid asleep.

"Hey! Can you see a doctor from up there?" Luffy shouted as snow fell upon the ship.

"Of course not, you idiot!" Usopp winced his eyes.

"Nothing... Except... Do you guys think a person could stand on top of an ocean...?" Y/N asked as he put the binoculars down.

"The heck are you asking, Y/N?" Luffy frowned.

"Then... How do you explain that?" Y/N put the binoculars on his eyes again and peered into the distance.

"Huh?" Luffy and Usopp turned around to be met with a tall creature standing on its two feet on the water staring right into them.

The two 17 year olds quickly rubbed their eyes but was met with that obscene figure.

"Quite cold today, isn't it?" The strange figure spoke staring at the boys.

"...Yeah it is pretty cold today." Luffy turned to his long nosed companion.

"Y-Yeah for real. It's freezing today..." Usopp replied.

"Is that so?" He questioned once more.

"..." Y/N, Usopp and Luffy all looked at him with confusion before suddenly the ship began to shake.

"AHHHHH!" Usopp crashed into the wall.

"Is this thing... A ship..!?" Zoro gaped as he watched the enormous ship emerge from the sea.

"MAHAHAHA!" A booming voice shouted.

"Surprised!? Has my submersible ambush-ship 'tin can king' left you speechless!?"
