"Nahahaha! It looks like I did survive! How lucky." He triumphantly retrieved his straw hat, the symbol of his indomitability.

Observing with admiration, Y/N couldn’t help but acknowledge their leader's resilience. "I definitely chose the right captain to follow." Y/N grinned as he looked over at the rubber boy.

Sanji, with a contemplative expression, pivoted towards the swordsman and the H/C hairedboy querying a profound thought, "Hey.. do you believe in God?"

Interrupting Sanji's deep thought, Zoro sheathed his katanas securely, as he urged. "Enough talking and let's leave this town already. We've got more trouble headed our way."

"Surround the town square! Corner all the pirates!" The marines shouted as they began to chase the four men.

"They're here!" Sanji looked back at the group of marines. "Run for it... But which way?" Zoro sped up his pace.

'Why did he smile.. did he know he would be saved..? No.. at that instant he realized his life would come at an end. He came in terms with his death and smiled.'

Amidst this chaos, thoughts coiled tightly in Smoker's mind like smoke rings

"Captain, shouldn't we-"

"Hey.. have you ever seen a pirate who smiled at his execution stand? " Smoker asked.

"S-Smile!?" Confusion and disbelief were apparent as the marine responded earnestly, "I'm sure even the most wicked pirate would turn pale and cower at the moment of his death."

"But that's exactly what that straw hat boy did, he smiled." Smoker began sweating.

"He smiled the same way that the pirate king did, 22 years ago in that very spot"

The rain intensified around Y/N and company, its lashing causing the members to dampen –The wind's getting out of hand." Y/N noticed as the rain poured upon everyone and everything.

"Jeez these guys are persistent, should we just stop and fight them off?" Luffy pointed at the marines that were tailing behind them.

"Don't, there'll be no end to them. More importantly, Nami told us to return to the ship as fast as possible." The swirly eyebrows responded.

The sound of a female voice pierced the air, "Roronoa Zoro,"

It was none other than Sergeant Major Tashigi who now stood before them, her presence prompting smiles of recognition for the marines.

"To think that you were Roronoa Zoro! And a pirate at that too!" She shouted. "You were just toying with me all along."

Sanji's anger boiled over as he confronted Zoro with an accusation, "You bastard what did you do to that lady!?"

"Never thought you were a marine." Zoro remained nonchalant in the face of his comrade's outburst.

Zoro couldn't help but let a smirk play upon his lips as he retorted to Tashigi's disbelief,

All the while, Luffy and Y/N could only observe with confusion etched on their faces.

"I shall take back that Wadou Ichimonji!" Tashigi stated as Zoro responded with a coy smirk, baiting her confidently with an invitation, "..Just try it."

As he engaged in a clash of steel against Tashigi’s blade, Zoro instructed his comrades to advance without him. The group reluctantly complied after they heard Luffy agree.
