Chapter 4: Mission Accomplished

At 9:00 in the morning the next day, the girls went to the supermarket to grab the things they still needed. Carol was carefully going through the shopping list to make sure they didn't miss a thing. "Ok so on to phase two...the shopping list. Amara, could you head to the fruit and vegetable aisle? And Dana headed to the produce. And Astrid, can you help me get the snacks?" Both Amara and Astrid nodded their heads. "Ugh...produce. I wish it wasn't that smelly.," replied Dana but turned to the direction of the produce aisle anyway. Carol split the list and gave it to her friends. "See you guys in a bit!"

After paying for all the equipment they all scrambled to pack their things before the long-awaited day.

When Dana finished packing her stuff she went to Astrid's house to help out with the food. When she arrived, she stared in awe at a big camper parked in front of her front yard. "Whoa!" shouted Dana. "Welcome to the ....uh camper," said Astrid who was waiting at the door. Amara and Carol arrived soon after. "Guys! Did you see the camp..." "Not even words could describe the thing!" Dana said, cutting her off. "Yes, it's ginormous. Congratulations Astrid!" replied Carol laughing. Astrid beamed.

After a few more preparations the girls took the camper for a ride to Dana’s house, where they planned to meet to start their trip.

"Finally," said Dana "DONE!!" She lay down on her bed, looking absolutely exhausted after a long day of preparation. "That was tiring," said Astrid, yawning. Despite feeling tired too, Amara exclaimed "So Astrid, how did you manage to find a great camper? I want to hear all about it"

"Yes I would love to hear about it too!" said Carol. Dana did not respond, she was already asleep and snoring loudly. "I'll tell you tomorrow. Besides, I think we should let Luna get her rest..." said Astrid putting a blanket over Dana. Carol laughed. "Mission accomplished."
