"We’ve got a real life Hiccup and Astrid people!" Dana said, pointing to the boy."Who?" Questioned the boy.
"Dana, I swear…" said Astrid, hot headed and now blushing profusely.
Dana ignored her friend’s threats.
"YOU’VE NEVER HEARD OF HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON?!" shouted Dana.
"Uhm, no…?" said the boy, confused.
"That's just sad. Trust me my friend, you have not LIVED if you haven’t seen it." Said Dana, grabbing the boy by the shoulders.
“Who’s Hiccup? Whoever he is, I'm not him.” the boy said, wriggling away from Dana’s grasp. “Though…you came pretty close. My name is Hunter.”
His dragon snorted behind him. Hunter smiled.
“This is my dragon Kaida, I believe you’ve met.” Hunter said, with a lopsided grin.
“Hmm…oh yeah. By met I think you mean almost eaten.” Astrid said with a glare.
“You really hold grudges don’t you?” Hunter said, his grin fading a little. “Trust me though, we’re not evil or whatever you think we are.”
“Look…Hunter? If we can trust you…we might need your help,” Carol said.
“Oh? What do you mean?” Hunter asked.
“We need some help getting home.” Astrid said, not meeting Hunter’s eyes.
“Ah. Why didn’t you say so, sure!” Hunter said.
“Yes! Thank you!” Dana said happily, punching the air.
“If your friend apologizes to me.” Hunter said with a smirk.
Astrid scoffed.
“And just why should I apologize to you Hiccup?” Astrid said with a sneer.
“Firstly, I would very much like it if you didn’t call me that. And second, good luck finding your way home without me.” Hunter said.
"Ugh, FINE! I… am… sorry.” said Astrid with a grimace.
“Thank you!” Hunter said happily. He then approached Amara. “So, where do you girls need to go?” He asked. “Judging by your clothes you are definitely not from around here.”
“Well, you’re right. We AREN’T.” Amara began. “We got lost in the woods during our trip and long story short, we went through this weird tunnel and we ended up here.” she finished.
Hunter’s eyes widened.
“Weird tunnel you say?” Hunter asked
“Yes? The opening disappeared once we went through.” Carol said.
“Oh gods…” Hunter muttered.
“What’s wrong? Also I think you mean GOD.” Dana said.
“I do mean gods and, I have a feeling getting you home is going to be a lot more difficult than you thought.” Hunter said. “I think I need to take you to the boss.”
“And who, may I ask, is this boss?” Astrid said.
“You’ll see.” Hunter said, smirking again.
He hopped onto Kaida and stroked her back. He then gestured for the girls to follow.
“EEEK!” Dana said. “He really is a real life Hiccup!”
“Whatever.” Astrid said, rolling her eyes.
“Come on, I promise I won’t try to kill you.” Hunter teased.
The others shrugged and climbed aboard. Hunter offered his hand to Astrid, but she just smacked it away.
“Yeah. No thanks dragon boy.” Astrid said with another eye roll. “If you ever try to murder us again I will kill you.”
“I’d like to see you try.” Hunter said, smirking once again. With that, he whistled and Kaida galloped (again, it was a miracle on how she could do that) out of the cave.
“Hold on!”
“GAHHHHHHHH!” the girls screamed, as they took off into the sky.
