Caroline walked outside the house and took a deep breath. "Today's the day!" she exclaimed. Walking toward the camper she suddenly heard a big
CRASH!
Followed by a cry of pain. Carol rushed over to the camper, where the door was hanging open. Great, on the first day of vacation. She thought to herself. She carefully walked towards the camper and saw a pile of suitcases toppled over each other. Underneath all the luggage was Dana. "Ouch! "Help me out of this suitcase landslide!'' Dana said. Seeing that Carol's face was pale, she laughed. Carol let out a sigh of both relief and disappointment. "Yeah. Laugh all you want. I thought you were a burglar or something." said Carol as she helped her up. Amara and Astrid rushed over." What happened!" said Astrid "It's fine...Dana got trampled by the suitcases." said Carol."I'm fine really, it happens all the time." Dana said in reply."Maybe you were not the right person for this job. Next time you are on lunch," said Carol. Astrid stared at the huge pile of suitcases. "Why do we have so much stuff?! How long is the road trip going to be anyway?!" she said. "Seriously, you guys have a lot of stuff"
"I mean you practically brought a whole art studio"
Amara sighed. "Well according to the schedule I made, 3-5 days," she said, trying to shove the rest of the fallen luggage in.
"Are we ready to get on the road?" Astrid asked. "Ready as I'll ever be!" said Dana, still dusting herself off. One by one, the girls entered the camper."Though I have said this multiple times before, nicely done Astrid!" Carol said. "Perfect for the 4 of us." Replied Amara looking around. Astrid blushed. "It's nothing...just doing my thing." After a few more minutes, they were finally ready to go. "Ok, now that we are all comfortable shall we go?" Luna said impatiently. "Ok, girls! I'm driving" said Astrid, jingling the keys. "It is my camper! And as we stated before I'm the only one who can drive," she said with a chuckle
Everyone strapped their seats and Astrid started the engine. "Here we go!
