★ ! K- akashi walked past the dango shop
on his way to get a new mission from the hokage; probably late. y/n scoffed in annoyance when the two made eye contact. it made genma chuckle a little before he through his arm around her.
"be nice! he's a loner- you're the only thing he has close to a friend!" the male laughed, making the girl shrug off his arm.
"i don't care." she mumbled, "he can suck my-"
"y/n!" kurenai laughed, "since when did the nicest girl in the village get so rude!"
"you're starting to treat him how he treated you." asuma added. the girl thought about it for a few seconds, staring at her dango before she scoffed and shrugged.
"so what? he's been an ass since academy, who cares?" she asked, rolling her eyes while eating her dango peacefully. her friend group went quiet; she was telling the truth. he had been rude to everyone since academy but they'd never seen her anywhere outside her nice state.
asuma sighed, changing the conversation to something useless. that was when y/n remembered-
"fuck, i forgot about itachi!" she yelled, dropping her dango and running towards the uchiha compound where the small boy was talking with shisui.
the two looked up at the elder girl who was running there way with a wave.
"you're late." itachi mumbled, watching as she chuckled nervously.
"sorry, ita. there was a black cat that crossed my path so i had to take another one." she laughed, waving the male off.
"excuses." shisui mumbled, looking at the girl unamused.
"ita?" itachi asked, squinting his eyes in confusion.
"mm-hm! it's a nickname, isn't it cute!" she beamed, pinching at his cheeks when he mumbled an 'i guess.'
"i want one too, n/n!" shisui pleaded. she stopped pinching itachi's cheek at the nickname.
she sighed, remembering how kakashi had called her the same thing whenever he'd see her.
"hm..." she thought, "shi!"
"cool." he muttered in admiration.
"now, let's start!" she beamed, the three doing their usual training until shisui & itachi were tired.
she chuckled at the two who were laying on the ground trying to catch their breath.
"hey, let's go camping." y/n stated randomly, making the two sit up on their elbows with confused faces.
