Todoroki's POV

I looked around the room, the only source of light was the street light that was shining through the window in our bedroom. It was late, but I wasn't asleep. I walked out of the bedroom, making my way to his office. The door was already slightly opened, I could see him in front of his PC. The sound of occasional clicks, the mouse sliding around on the mouse pad.

" Tenya dear..aren't you gonna come sleep?" I asked, wrapping my arms around his neck whilst he continued working. "Not yet Sho, you should go get some sleep." He blankly replied, not even bothering to look at me. "please, you've said that for two weeks.." I felt tears forming in the corner of my eyes, threatening to fall.

Ever since he got put on this one case, he's been sitting in his office for hours. Normally he'd finish cases quickly, being the workaholic he is, but this one was just straight(❌) up confusing. Knowing he wouldn't leave his office, I went to the kitchen. On my way there, I checked the clock. 23:47. I chopped up some fruits, specifically picking the ones I knew he loved.

Strawberries, raspberries, bananas, everything he liked in a small bowl. I took the bowl and went to his office, putting it down beside him. "If you're not gonna sleep, at least eat." As I finished my sentence, I went to our bedroom. Flopping down on the bed, I took out my phone and began scrolling through YouTube.

2 hours later, 01:47.

Iida's POV

I finally finished the case, satisfied with myself. I closed my PC and put the bowl in the kitchen. As I walked into the bedroom I saw Shoto laying there, with his phone in his hand. Seemed like he had fallen asleep while on his phone. I went up behind him, holding him close. Inhaling his sweet scent of vanilla and peppermint, I realized how much I had messed up.

I had been so focused on the case, that I completely forgot about him. I felt him shift around, until his charming eyes fluttered open. "Tenya?.." he mumbled, not quite awake. "Go back to sleep sho, it's not time to wake up yet." I tried to keep my voice low, as a way to calm him down. I could feel him smiling onto my chest, closing his eyes once again.

What did I do to deserve such a sweetheart?
