Xander's POV

Xander didn't know what it was but there was just something about her.

Ever since that one day when he first noticed her.

Xander remembers it was at the beginning of the school year, around this time, last year.

He remembers he hadn't known her until his sister started hanging out with her.

He was standing by the lockers with his friend Axel as he was telling him about a new phenomenon that he had apparently just discovered.

"Dude do you realize the power you have?? I literally have to just stand next to you and instantly I'm approached by girls." Axel said to him, joking and Xander just laughed to himself, shaking his head.

"No, but real talk man, girls love you. You really have that secret ingredient" He said, patting his shoulder with his hand.

Xander just rolled his eyes, smiling.

"Oh is that what it seems like?" He said, glancing over at his friend, while his arms were crossed.

Xander watched as people would walk by and every minute or so a couple of girls would giggle and look at him, waving. He just smiled, shaking his head. His friend trying to talk to the girls.

Soon a certain kind of girl caught his eye.

She was a girl he had never seen before.

He didn't remember her from any classes or clubs.

"She must be a new student." He thought.

She had bright blonde hair, the color of a sunflower with pink highlights in it. Her uniform was unique too, with a red shirt grey puffy sleeves, and a grey fringe skirt that ruffled around. She had on white worn down Converse with writing and drawings all over it and she had on silver "peace sign" earrings.

The one thing that he did notice about her was that she didn't look at him as she walked, not even a glance. She just pranced by with a smile on her face and not a care in the world.

"Dude...Dude.!" Xander heard Axel say, shaking his arm as he was still staring at the girl.

"Huh? What?" He said as he looked down at Axel, seeing as he was a bit shorter than him.

"What were you staring at??" He asked him and Xander looked away for a second, his face a little red, and shrugged, shaking his head.

"Nothin'." He said, looking forward, and leaning back on the locker.

Axel stared at him for a second and just shook his head.

"You're so stoned." He said, chuckling and leaning back on the locker.

"Yeah," Xander said awkwardly, trying to change the conversation.

It was only a week later when he actually saw his sister, for some reason, hanging out with this girl, of all people.

He was already surprised when his sister and Harriet became friends so this was even weirder.

He noticed them standing by the lockers between classes one day and he decided now would be the perfect time to introduce himself.

"Okay, X-man...Now's your chance." He thought.

So he put on his game face and went up to them, deciding to go for his sister first by poking her sides really hard with his fingernails.

She yelped really loudly and turned around, her face red, probably embarrassed that she yelped like that in front of the two.

They both had their hands over their faces, probably covering a big "O" expression.
