Vivians POV

"Wow, who's that girl Xander is with??"

Xander and I are at the dance, talking with the ticket holder.

"Sheesh I don't know, I've never seen her before."

It's as if I'm standing with the crowd, I can only see the back of us.

"She doesn't look familiar."

Everyone gathered around.

"Hey Xander, show us your girlfriend's face!"

I wait happily, clasping my hands together, excited.

Xander and I finally turn around and I expect to see how good I look.

But that is not what I see.

In fact, what I see is me, standing there beside Xander...with no face.

My smile starts to falter, instead making me form a frown on my face.

"She's pretty hot...but...I can't see her face."

"Yeah, where is her face."

"Why doesn't she have a face?"

As more and more questions arise, the music starts to sound muffled and the lights in the room start to blend and become more intense.

"What is going on? What is this?" I yell out loudly but it's as if no one in the room can hear me.

"Hello?! What's going on?!" I say again, but no reply.

"Who is she, man?"  One of his friends says.

"Yeah, who even is she?"  Another guy says.

Soon,  Xander slowly turns his head to the girl with no face.

"Now that I think about it...I don't really know who you are..." He says, and his hands soon leave the girl's hands as the room turns black and crumbles, with him and everyone else fading off into the distance.

"Xander..?!...Xander..?!" I yell out as I look around and can't see anyone.

I'm just in a dark, limitless void. No one around me was in sight.

All of a sudden, I wake up with a start in my bedroom, sitting up in my Queen-sized bed frantically, with my hair a mess and my heart beating at 110 beats per minute.

I feel my body and I see that I'm in a cold sweat.

I think "Gross.." but when I look around and realize that I'm in my room, I start to relax.

I swing my legs off my bed and touch the cold floor with my feet and get up, walking to my bathroom.

"That was a strange dream...or...nightmare," I say, as I scratch inside my hair and enter my bathroom.

I look at myself in the mirror.

"Ugh! I look horrible..."

Picking up a brush, I start to brush my messy hair down as best as I can.

Out of nowhere, as I'm brushing my hair, my reflection stops, and talks to me.

"Ooh, girl...you look beat..." It says and my eyes widen, as I stop brushing and just stare at her...I-I mean me!

"D-Did you just...talk to me..?!" I ask, clearly seeing, that my mouth is wide open in shock and the reflections giving me a sly smirk with its hands on its hips.
