"You're seriously telling me you haven't seen Mean Girls?" I questioned giving him a glare as we drove. I had convinced him to take me to the store to get munchies even tho he insisted on cooking me something. I really just wanted Cheetos.

"Never ever, nor will I ever. Just the title sounds dumb." I gasped, pretending to be hurt by his words.

I turned in my seat, looking out the side window with my arms cross over my chest. I puffed my bottle lip out slightly looking over to glare at him.

He let out a laugh, a deep one that was enough to make my stomach flip flop. I glared at him again as he laughed at me.

"Are you supposed to be Lil Diabla? Yet you're over here pouting cause I called the movie stupid?" He questioned raising an eyebrow at me and chuckling.

"Yes, you called my ALL TIME favorite movie stupid." I said with my arms still watching out the window as he pulled up to the small convenience store.

"Come on little baby, let's go get you some snacks so we can go home and watch Mean Girls." He said rolling his eyes and I instantly smiled jumping out of the car. "I knew that would work!" I cheered. As soon as we stepped into the store the joking stopped and Oscar turned stone cold again.

He walked off towards the freezer section while I went to look through the snacks. I kept having to pull the sweatpants I was wearing up since they were slightly too big and they were missing the string so I couldn't tie them tighter.

"Will you grab me a bag of Doritos, please?" He asked his arms full of two cokes and two Red Bulls.

"Anything else?" I asked grabbing a bag of Doritos and I already had two packs of mallo-cups in my hand and a bag of Hot Cheetos.

"Are those even good?" He asked nodding towards the hand that had the mallo-cups.

"Are you inside? It's only like the best candy on the planet!" I said shocked he hadn't had them before.

"Mmm I think I'll stick to Reese's." He chuckled making me roll my eyes and put the items on the counter. As Oscar fumbled through the bills in his wallet I quickly stuck my card into the machine. When it dinged Oscar looked up at me with a glare.

"You didn't have to do that." He said grabbing the bags from the shaking cashier. He must have been freaking out because it was Spooky.

"I know but you've been buying me a Coke everyday for the last month, I owed you at least something." I shrugged smiling up at Oscar as he opened the car door for me. He handed the bags of snacks and drinks to me as I instantly grabbed a two pack of mallo-cups and opening them.

"Try it." I said handing him the second one after he got into the car. He grabbed it and unwrapped it and popping it into his mouth.

"Not bad." He nodded and started driving back to his house. As we were driving he slowed down as a green car started to drive by.

"Damn, Spooky. That your girl?" One of the guys asked with a playful smirk. "Leave her outta this, get off my block bitch. You know better than to be seen on this side." His voice was dark and I had never heard anything like it. It was enough to run chills down my spine.

I watched as Oscar slowly moved his arm towards me and pointed towards the glove box. Getting the hint I discretely opened it, seeing a black postal sitting in there.

I slowly reached for it, carefully not to move too much making it obvious I was reaching for something.

Oscar continued to argue with the two but I heard a sigh of relief when the green car started to pull away quickly. I stopped reaching for the gun and closed the glove box.

I released the breath I didn't know I was holding. My heart was pounding in my ears and I hadn't even realized my hands were shaking until Oscar leaned over and took both of my hands into his.

"You okay?" He asked and I nodded glancing up at him for a second. "I'm fine, can we go? I wanna eat my Cheetos." I breathed out, trying to calm my own nerves.

He let go of my hands and started driving towards the house. When we pulled into the driveway he turned to look at me again.

"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked again, giving me a concerned look but I nodded. "Yes, it's not a big deal." I shrugged hoping that would calm his nerves about the situation.

"Hey." I stopped in my tracks before turning around to be face to face with Oscar. "I'm sorry, you shouldn't have had to witness that. If something would have happened I never would have forgiven myself." He whispered and I instantly frowned.

"Nothing happened, and we're both okay. Don't worry about it." I tried sending him to most reassuring smile I could but it was no use. The situation scared the hell out of me and for a second I really thought I was going to die.

"I'm just not safe." He said as we continued our way up to the house. "I can't let anything happen to you." I shook my head while setting the bags on the counter.

"Oscar, I am fine. Was it scary? Yeah but nothing happened." Oscar sighed before coming to my side.

He placed both hands on the side of my face, cupping both my my cheeks so I would look up at him.

"I'm okay." I nodded sending him a small smile and he returned the small smile before leaning in.

Our lips just barely brushed together before he pulled back, "shit, I'm sorry." He said trying to remove his hands but I quickly lifted my hands to his, keeping them where they were then crashing our lips together.

Kissing Oscar has been something I've been waiting for, for a few weeks. Then after he called me his girl tonight. I just can't get him out of my head.
