Mishka sat there, dropping her head on the elbow over the table, her eyes fixed on the entrance gate trying to take a glimpse of him, but he hadn't come yet.
Swati held her shoulder causing her to look up, "He will come, don't worry!"
Mishka twists her lips in disappointment, like the hell she is waiting for half an hour, when will he come?
"What will you give her as a gift?"
Mishka dropped her eyes to her lap, "Is it necessary?" She mumbled.
Swati sighed, taking a seat beside her, "You are going to a birthday party without any gift? It won't look good!"
Mishka thinned her lips, nodding to herself, "Give me money then!"
Swati smiled, taking her hands in her hair. She stood up going inside while Mishka sat there waiting for him.
She is happy over the fact that she can meet him after college hours, and can spend time with him a little bit more.
However, that boy is hell-bent to ruin the moment she got with him.
Swati came back then sat beside her, as she gave her a small pink colour clutch bag.
"Money, your handkerchief, medicines and eye drops. Just in case something happens!"
Mishka took the bag, caressing the leather fabric. Her brows pulled together as she gazed at the bag thoughtfully before meeting the later woman's eyes, "When did you buy this bag?"
Swati cleared her throat, "It's an old one!"
Mishka blinked, her fingers still caressing the bag. The leather fabric feels so familiar, she brought the bag to her nose, sniffing it lightly as she frowns, "Why this-
Her words were left incomplete when a mild screeching sound of the tire reached her ears. Mishka stood up, Clutching the bag in her hands, she walked out followed by Swati behind her.
