"Your house is beautiful!"

Mishka whispers in awe at the interior of the house. It was the perfect blend of modernity and tradition.

"Address it as home." Kairav corrected her.

She tilted her head, in confusion, "But aren't both the same?"

"No, they're not." Kairav replied, pointing at the huge family picture hanging at the main living hall's wall, "House is a form of a building but home is your solace."

Mishka stare at the picture, his grandparents, parents and uncle and aunt sitting on the huge sofa, behind the sofa, Aadrika standing, smiling widely with Kairav and Nishant on her right side and Pranav and Nitya on her left side, mirroring their expressions, all of them radiating that innocent happiness.

Without knowing, she slowly walked close to the wall with Kairav behind her.

"You're living the dream of many." the words escaped as low as her feelings.

How blessed he is to have a family.

"Indeed!" He said, a smile tugging on the edge of his lips when he saw his mother with aarti roaming in the house.

She was chanting some mantra when she forwarded the aarti towards them. Kairav rounds his palm over the lightened diya and takes the blessings. Knowing Mishka well, he again rounded his palms over the diya and touched her head to transfer the blessings. Aarna smiled at the sweet gesture, she was about to do the morning prayer but had to pause when they came.

She put her finger in laal tika and applied it on Kairav, between his brows. Mishka was studying their actions, the motherly warmth wasn't foreign for her. Aarna applied the tika between her brows as well, she patted her head with a smile, she walked away.

Mishka was taken back, she blinked multiple times, trying to synchronize the situation. It was the same, she felt like... as if she went back to her previous life.

Her chain of thoughts broke when Kairav snapped his fingers, "What?"

She sighed, shaking her head, touching the spot where Aarna applied tika. "You people make me fall back in nostalgia."

Kairav frowns, not really getting her words, "Why do you speak so low? As if you're telling a secret and afraid of the walls will hear them."

She raised a brow, "You're quite smart."

He chuckled, holding her hand, "Shall we -

"Kairav, Mishka, Nasta kar lo!"

He straightened his lips, not really happy after getting interrupted, "Alright, breakfast first. It's already 11:30 right now."
