“I wanna be your idea of perfect ”

Sonakshi exits the parlour shop after a tortuous hour of waxing and threading. She shuffled into her purse, standing outside the saloon, finding her phone.
A beep of horn caught her attention, forcing her to divide her attention to look up, she kind-of regretted it immediately finding the boy she can't stand, there on his oh-so expensive precious bike.
She chose to ignore him, fisting her phone out, she turned away, dialling her mother's number. Pranav chuckled, deep back on his throat on her attempt to ignore him.
As if he'll let her do that now.
“I'm heading to the market. I told you about buying some jewellery.” she informed her mother, asking permission in return.
Pranav hops down from the bike, latching the key in his jeans waistband hook and stands behind her, waiting patiently, while looking around. A few people were here and there on the road, vanishing into the shops, hardly giving any attention to their surroundings.
Sonakshi turned around, startling at his sudden presence behind her, she stumbled back. “What the hell is wrong with you?” she yelled, stepping a few steps back.
“Relax, will you?” he softly says, stepping ahead, “You were heading somewhere. I can give you the ride.” He offers.
Rolling her eyes, she trespassed him.
He sighed, now habitual by her behaviour around him. She detest him and he's becoming shameless for her, to win her.
Before she could go far, he quickly held her wrist, turning her around beckoning her towards his bike, “What the— her voice flatters when she found herself caged between his bike's seat and him.
“I beat Aditya and he ended up in hospital for his strain muscles and bones checkup, that's why you're angry with me, right?”
She looked away, folding her hands over her chest. She knows the chaos, she knows the reason behind but she chooses to keep her mouth shut.
“So listen now, that bloody moron had your pictures and under his rage for winning over me, he was going to misuse them. Think of me as a monster or whatever, but that prick doesn't have a pinch of shame and morals when it comes to women and you're expecting me to keep quiet when the things were throwing over you, right?”
Tears clogged up in the depth of her eyes, hearing his words, she's no fool to not see beyond the surface. The last fight in the college had built some doubts in her mind, she did a little background checkup, trying to find the root and when she found the truth, the floor slipped beneath her feet.
