Protecting her *S.Snape*

01- "protect her"

Severus Snape stood in albus office. He looked to the headmaster and frowned "you wanted to see me?" Severus asked as albus nodded

"Yes severus, I want to talk to you over Adeline potter" he said as Severus rolled his eyes at the girls name. Adeline potter was James potter little sister, she was just like her brother in so many ways and she reminded him off James so much

Adeline was only eighteen and had only been out of school for a few months when James and Lily had been killed. She had tried to get custody of Harry but she was too young and dumbledore had talked her out of it

"What about her" Severus said coldly as dumbledore looked to him

"I know how you feel over James potter but Adeline isn't James"

"Oh please I remembered what she was like at school. She's a potter" he said as albus sighed

"Yes well you made me a promise a long time ago Severus to protect Harry and Adeline is his aunt. She's been living in the potter house for all of those years and she's going to be coming to hogwarts, she's going to be your assistant and with the suspense that the dark lord is still around. We have to keep her safe to but she can't know" albus said

"What do you require me to do" Severus asked as albus looked to him

"I would like you to look out for her, she's still a girl and even though she isn't a child or anything she's still a girl who had her family took away from her and I'm asking you to keep an eye on her" he said as Severus looked to him and rolled his eyes

"If I must" he said as albus nodded

"And don't put any thoughts you had of her or her brother in the past on her. She's coming this year and so is Harry, I hope you act professional" albus said as Severus nodded as he walked out of the room

He knew that he didn't like the idea of it at all

Adeline frowned to herself as she got to hogwarts. She stood in albus classroom and looked to see the old man as he walked in and smiled "Adeline. How are you" he asked as she smiled

"I'm okay, I havent been back here since I left. The last time I was here James was and I haven't seen Harry since they died" Adeline said as albus looked to her and nodded

"I know it's hard. I know that being away from Harry and loosing your brother wasn't easy but having Harry live with the muggles was doe the best even though it doesn't seem that way besides you were barely eighteen" he said as she nodded

"I get it but it doesn't mean I don't think he belonged with me but he is to be at hogwarts this year and I'll see him and I don't know how I will feel over that but after all these years I will always look out for Harry, it's what my brother would of wanted" Adeline said as albus looked to her and nodded

"You'll be working with Severus I've asked him to come along and help you settle" albus said as Adeline looked to him and nodded. Adeline knew Severus thoughts oh her from going up and she knew how James had got her involved prancing him when they were kids but that was a long time ago

Severus Snape stood in his potion classroom. He was annoyed that he had to look after Adeline as well as potter. He turned around and looked to see Adeline "hello Severus long time no see" she said as he nodded

"Potter"

"I think we know each other well enough that you can call me Adeline or are you still holding that grudge on me over my brother" she said as the two of them held a look. They both knew how they had a lot of history. Severus knew how he promised to protect adeline

But little did he know how adeline potter was going to change his life and how she was nothing like her brother at all.

Little did the two of them know how things between them wouldn't be easy one bit?
