Adeline knew that she was on edge ever since she had admitted to Severus that Sophie was his daughter. She didn't know what she was going to do. All that she knew that after all of this time. All that she had done was to keep her safe and she was worried over what Severus was going to do

She knew what she sad angry but she knew that she didn't regret it. She protected her daughter and she would continued to do so. She knew his Severus had treated her all of those years ago when they had sex and how he used her to get to Lily and she hated that was the circumstances that Sophie was made in and she knew that was one of the reasons that she never admitted the truth to Severus over Sophie.

She knew that it may seem as if she was punishing him but all of this was over Sophie and protecting her. She knew that if she'd have to do it again then she was as she knew that Severus never cared over her and he didn't get to act hurt in all of this. She knew if she had admitted that she was pregnant he wouldn't have been there. He'd want her to get an abortion and she knew that she wasn't going to be out in that position

Adeline knew it was a mess and she knew how she told Severus if he told Sophie that she'd kill him and she meant every word. She knew that she didn't trust Severus not to do this out of spite. All that she wanted was to keep her daughter safe and she knew it wasn't easy

Adeline knew that she was going to have to go out there and face Severus and she was not prepared for it

Adeline walked into Severus classroom and looked to him as he looked up at her and rolled her eyes

"I was wondering when you were going to show your face. Are you worried I'll tell your daughter what a liar you are" he said

"I did it to protect her I don't expect you to understand"

"She is my daughter to Adeline do you not think I deserve the right to know" he yelled as she glared

"Do you ever ask yourself why I didn't tell you. Maybe it's how you treated me after we had sex. You treated me like a whore all to get at my brother and make lily jealous. I was part of your game and I didn't want Sophie brought into that"

"Don't act as if you're the perfect mother. Your drowning then her. She could do better" he said as she looked to him and flared as she slapped him

"That girl is my world do not tell me how to be a parent. You have known more than five minutes don't judge me. How do you think you would have reacted if I told you back then. Do you really think that you would of decided to play daddy to her as we both know you would of walked away" she said as he grabbed her by the throat and looked to her

"You don't know that but you took my option away didn't you?"

"Don't you dare. I protected Sophie everything I have done is for Sophie" she said

"I am not going to tell her yet don't worry Adeline your secret is safe I just hope it's worth it as she's not going to be happy" he said as she glared

"Don't act as if you know my daughter at all" Adeline said as she walked off

Adeline smiled as she saw Sophie "what's going on with you and snape? Draco heard you arguing" she said as Adeline looked to her and smiled

"It's nothing for you to worry over. Snape...he's something that's all. I can handle it"

"Your not sleeping with him are you" Sophie asked

"Was your mouth out. Of course I am not" Adeline said as she looked to Sophie who nodded. Adeline knew how things were and how it was a mess with Severus

"It's just the way he looks at you. It's like he wants you" Sophie said as Adeline walked over to her daughter and smiled

"A lot has happened but I promise you that there is nothing going on with me and professor snape" Adeline said as she pulled her daughter into a hug

Sophie looked to her and smiled. She knew that there was something off with her mum and she was worried

"So you and Draco?" Adeline asked as Sophie looked to her and rolled her eyes

"Don't mum. Don't start" Sophie said as Adeline grinned at her

Adeline looked to see Remus as he walked in and smiled "I got your letter. So the truth is out. He knows" he asked as he stood in the doorway as she sighed

"It is. I just don't know anymore all of these secrets were always for the best what if she hates me for this Remus I'm so scared" she said as Remus walked over to her and smiled

He pulled her into his arms as she started to cry. He knew the history that they had and he knew that he cared for Adeline a lot

"She will but hard you. You were being a mother and protecting her. What snape did to you was awful. He used you only to get you pregnant and Sophie will understand you never told her the truth to protect her. Look at the bond that the two of you have" Remus said as Adeline looked to him and smiled. She only howls that he was right

Adeline sat at the desk in her classroom and looked to see Severus "I don't want to argue with you Severus my head is a mess already" she said

"I didn't come to argue. But Sophie is going to find out the truth so you tell her or I will" he said as she looked to him and glared

She didn't like how she was being forced into the corner with all of it but she knew that Sophie did deserve to know the truth despite it all
